ANNOUNCER: So, Coach Williams, what do you think of this new Pistons team?

MONTY: You've got Cade Cunningham, obviously. I could really see him sexually satisfying my daughter. Maybe a little Cade Cunnilingus, know what I mean?

ANNOUNCER: Er, ..., I meant, what about this amazing class of athletes we have on this team?

MONTY: Looking forward to working with Ausar Thompson. A twin, how about that. I like to think about him and his brother just taking turns plowing my daughter in every hole imaginable. "Amen" to that, huh?

ANNOUNCER: I ..., um, what about the veteran leadership on this roster, what are you hoping to see there?

MONTY: So glad to have a guy like Isaiah Stewart on this team and in the locker room. Built like a truck. Just imagine the grandchildren he'd give me; hopefully granddaughters that I can offer up to the next generation of NBA players to bang. And Bojan Bogdanovic, I love the way he sees the game, the example he sets for the other guys. Last week I had him showing the guys different lovemaking positions, techniques. A lot of these young guys can't even do The Shocker, much less read the Kama Sutra. Hopefully by training camp we'll have guys like Marcus Sasser and Killian Hayes able to pull a proper pretzel dip and make my baby girl moan consistently.

ANNOUNCER: Okay, we need to cut to commercial now; thanks to Coach Monty Williams for joining us ...
This man PornHubs! I watched all 3 of these videos last week. I think they were in the Top 10 in the US for the week.

I can’t believe Monty actually said this. Wtf man. I’m glad he’s not our coach anymore.

Whoa, FLICK YOLI in the thread! What a blast from the past!

Still the same guy, it seems.

Haha, they mention Monty going into the Bucks' locker room. I always thought that was inappropriate.

Meh, if I remember correctly he was just quietly congratulating Giannis and Giannis asked him to come in. I had no problem with that.

Isn't FLICK_YOLI == Ladmo from the old days?

You guys give him the boot? I remember him but don’t recall when he left or why.

Nah. He left on his own accord if I remember right.

Dan Bickley:
"The more and more time that goes by, and the more and more stories that I hear, the idea of Monty Williams as this kind, pure-hearted, servant leader--it is five miles from the truth. It's partially true, but it's not the big picture. So the idea of DA responding to a different coach, I can see that happening. And I think it's more possible than people give it credit for, only because what he got from Monty wasn't coaching. He didn't get anything at the end."

I did that for a few years too. Then came back.

I think Ladmo received a temporary ban a long time ago for causing some ruckus, and he got upset and left and never returned. But I might be misremembering.

Edit: Just searched the site history and, yup, he was here until 2015 and posted in the Politics area a lot. He made a lot of threads that irked people and kind of stifled conversation in that section of the board. At some point after several warnings I banned him. I wouldn't mind having him back if he ever wants to return and be kind and considerate to others.

That’s not his nature. Being kind and considerate to others would defeat the entire purpose of his existence.

The rest of that clip is basically what this forum says about Ayton.

Ladmo was unique and, at times, entertaining.
I remember his "Ladmo's Bags" thread on an earlier iteration of suns.net.
Offbeat tales from society's margins.

He did seem to harbor a festering persecution complex, though.

Monty it seemed could almost walk on water his first few seasons here. The voice of calm, reason and honor. Given credit for building the teams moral and unity based on goodness and doing the right thing.

The moment he is fired he is accused of being an evil awful man with zero integrity by the same people. Sad.

I think that coaches have an expiration date. And his faults became increasingly glaring.

Yeah, I don't think it's black and white like that. I loved what he brought to the team and how he brought the players together to quickly go to the Finals. But if he held grudges against certain players as reported, and it does seem to fit what I've seen (with Crowder and Ayton specifically), then that was definitely an issue. I know that most of us agree that Ayton shouldn't have to be babied but I do think you need to treat players differently based on their personalities. He really should have reached out to Ayton the summer of his extension so Ayton didn't come into the next season so aloof and saying that they hadn't talked. Ayton definitely needed some Ted Lassoing (aka John Woodening). Last season also may have been much better if he hadn't alienated Crowder (if true). He would have made a big difference in our rotation.
