Tyler Johnson played well again tonight. His impact shouldn’t be ignored...we’ve kinda started this run as he’s played well.
True. His contract is awful but he isn’t. He’s decent, just severely overpaid

Booker played incredibly hard tonight. He was clearly pumped knowing how winnable this game was.

He is steady, plays hard, and can hit shots. Just having him around has taken some pressure off Booker. Focusing on the Kelly and Johnson trades, how should we feel about this current front office administration?

This was his best defensive game in a long time. He seemed to be moving with much more zip today, on both sides of the ball.

He’s definitely overpaid, but he’s only got a year left. He’s an easy trade add in to match salary this summer.

I think so...he wants to be here, fans love him, and he’s playing really well. He’s young and is a pretty solid fit next to booker. Especially if he improves a bit from 3. You kinda have to move warren and or Jackson though if you sign him.
Sarver: Call. And I’ll raise you Goran Dragic, Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe.

I’d give the trades a C+ and a B+...Oubre gets the B+ as he’s been a welcome surprise over Ariza...we kinda lucked into the trade though. Still, I’ll just grade on results. Johnson is infinitely more useful than Anderson, but he did cost us 3.6 million in cap space. If he continues to stabilize the pg position and allow our guys to have a strong finish to the season, I think the trade will be worth it. If we can use him as a trade chip at some point, that’s an added bonus.

I don’t think the Suns going to find it easy to move him. Expiring contracts aren’t what they used to be. Just ask James Jones about Tyson Chandler and Austin Rivers. Chances are the Suns will be paying the full remainder. I just don’t see any team dumber than us taking him on.

I'm just glad we have someone whom can play point shoot the ball and not turn it over all the time.

He seemed reinvigorated.

The Knicks are horrible. Poorly coached as well. I was disappointed the Suns didn’t go after Ellenson when he was released. He looked terrible out there though. Not an NBA player.

I’d try to swoop up Mitchell Robinson when the Knicks do the salary purge this summer. Offer a 2nd round pick or 2 for him. I think he can be an absolute beast.

Knicks aren't moving him. His block numbers have been historic. Especially for a rookie.

Johnson in 10 games with the Suns: 40 assists, 9 turnovers.

In his last 8 games: 35 assists, 5 turnovers.

For some reason Ayton's voice just doesn't match his body. Like you'd think it would be deeper. I feel the same about Cam Jordan for the Saints.

Anyway, people really like Ayton as a person I think. He's going to do a lot for this team once he's dominating every night and the team is winning. He's just made to be on Tv. Like how people used to think of Dwight Howard before he ruined his reputation by being an idiot.

Yo, that 75:14 ratio though. That's nearly 5 assists per turnover.

Sorry - that's not meant to be in aggregate. He's played 10 games with the Suns and the numbers are very good, but particularly impressive the last 8.

He’d be pretty essential if we wanted to trade for anyone with a salary over 20 million a year.

Oh, I totally misread it. Didn't occur to me that he hasn't been here for 18 games yet. 7:1 in his last 8 is pretty good though, right?

Expirings got KP for Dallas because NY wanted to dump some bad long term deals. I imagine Bumpy's $20M will be important next February if not sooner.
