Frank on fire! Don’t want him guarding Zion again though, haha

That missed layup is why Ayton needs to go strong...go up strong and it’s either a dunk or free throws and quite possibly both.

Lonzo definitely been playing better for like a month now
Seen his lil bro doing work and clearly inspired but I still not super fussy about him running hot here

Not great. Basically everyone on the Pels is having a good game.

Forget the drop pass by DA
He upsets me when he hesitates to challenge guys at the rim. If he gets to time the player he would go for the block or well more often than not do his try to stay vertical thing
If he think the person has a half step on him though he just stands there, Willy missed that jam but no reason DA couldn't go for that block. Not like Hernangomez is a leaper and even if he quick dunked on ya, so what smh

They’ve been cruising offensively lately..not sure it’s a huge outlier. We need to play better D, too many easy shots. Ayton has kept Zion from getting a bunch of easy looks, but other guys have had good looks. Lonzo is good on catch and shoot 3s. Ingram a tough guard.

Pels don’t play a lot of defense though, we should continue to get good looks. Just need to D up a bit better.

On most nights, Ayton averages about 3 aggressive plays by my estimation.

Pels are that team that just matches up well with us and gives us problems. Both teams playing hard, they're knocking down shots, getting into passing lanes. They've really been playing hard and swarming on defense plus hitting their shots. Again, we're not getting anything from Cam and Mikal. Mikal seems to be forcing some off-the-dribble stuff. Paul's been quiet too. Book, Jae, Moore and Crowder are doing well for us. Frank is hitting every 3 he looks at. DA is DA.

Ayton is also pretty lazy getting back on D a lot...especially when he thinks he got fouled

Imagine Frank being the stretch 4 we always needed.

Yes we'll the first half was them knocking down shots outside of Ingram getting some straight line drives
Way too many layups in that first few minutes but we answered with a run

Gonna have to get a 4-5min stretch at least with multiple stops
Trading scoring runs thing getting played out now lol

I know Zion is thicc, but why can't Ayton do a lot of the same stuff? Zion just caught an easy lob over two guys under 6'5". Ayton would've been trying to get into position for a boxout in that situation, and that's if he was also "locked in".

Good timeout by Monty, but what the hell was happening at halftime?

We had 59 at HT and scored 32 in the third which should be decent
Only thing is they were 66 and drop another 36 in that quarter......

We're losing our discipline now
Giving up transition baskets
