That bad contested jumper and I don't know what he was trying to do on the lob catch. I guess he's never really going to be able to consistently catch and dunk lobs. He tries to guide the ball in more often than not.

Lazy getting back on defense isn't going to to endear him to the rest of the team either.

The typical DA fadeaway J was awful as Howard had pushed him out to about 20 ft which is too far. No attempt to dribble or back down. I think the lob was a little high and DA wasn't quite ready to go up and get it. He's gotten two lobs from CP so far.

Could've definitely been the timing. Book is a below average lob passer, IMO. ESPN never showed a replay.

A few observations:
Vogel should have been ejected when he came yelling out onto the court.
Bridges having a great game.
Booker starting to shake off cobwebs in the second half.
Suns playing with more pace and moxie in this game.
I think LeBron is a great player, but he gets the piss and moan award for his continual whining in the first half.
Howard should consider professional wrestling

Mikal Bridges. I take back anything negative I said about you. Dude is a baller. Does so much on the court.

Suns got a ton of calls in the 2nd quarter. Great to see 3 on Lebron already. Loved how Bridges played in the 1st half. And happy for CP3 to hit 20k points.

That’s not at all a good look from Howard and Davis. Resisting urges for schaudenfreude (but it’s hard!)

Officials making up for the Lakers ineptitude by calling four fouls on the Suns in about 90 seconds.

It might be just me but I am finding Doris Burke’s commentary and pro-Lakers bias especially annoying.

I like Doris Burke, usually, but she has a Laker flavor to her commentary tonight.

Lakers with 13 assists. Paul with 12.

She's usually cool so I find it surprising that she was hedging on most calls or flat out disagreeing

I don't know how long it's going to take the Lakers to accept they can't really play Westbrook and LeBron together.

I haven't really noticed Burke, it's just typical of any national broadcast against the Lakers.

Same - I usually really like her commentary which might be why it’s jarring tonight
