The bucks are not giving us Middleton…he’d have to demand a trade and we’d have to give up a lot more than our pu pu platter of expirings…something more like Crowder/CamJ to Milwaukee, Saric/Shamet/1st to Houston who gives Milwaukee Eric Gordon.
I would do this so fast idgaf

Problem is getting the Bucks to do it.

Trade override. That’s what I always do.

Bucks are a contender but I’d flip Middleton for a couple of 3 and D guys plus first rounders for sure.

Sure, I'd also trade a handful of rotation bench players for an All-Star player.

This is a bunch of crazy talk.

I wonder if this means we were after him as well.

Ya, safer to just take Rozier/Oubre

A Rozier/Shamet/Lee/Oubre/Landale bench unit is a major upgrade.
And a fun time with Saucy for all.
If we trade for Oubre just ban me preemptively because it’s going to get obnoxious real quick up in here.

I don’t love what the Bucks have to offer…it’s like Grayson Allen or Pat Connaughton. Maybe they are slight upgrades on Shamet. I’d need Jordan Nwora coming back to trade to Milwaukee.
I like Nwora, but his salary is too low, so Milwaukee would have to include potentially two more players.

Milwaukee isn't a good candidate for a trade partner.

Is Oubre expiring?
Yes

This works

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28s5ltdu

Craig, Crowder, Saric, and Payne for Rozier/Oubre

We’d have to add draft capital
Draft capital isn't going to get it done; Rozier has been a stud for them. I don't see why they would trade him for the Suns bench fodder.

Dang Milwaukee really makes out here lol.
Honestly, If I’m Bucks I’d trade Kris for Cam Johnson, Jae, and 1st rounders + salary.
In this scenario, you're trying to get fired, right?

It rhymes with Clembanyama.

The team has way too much talent to lose enough to be in the running for the number one pick. And that's after losing Miles Bridges.

Probably wouldn’t unless they are giving up and tanking for Wembanyama. I do think they’d be more likely to move Hayward.

As is I agree, but if LaMelo stays banged up, Hayward is in and out of the lineup and they realize they are a play-in team at best, they might shift course.

And there's been whispers of Jordan wanting to sell his ownership stake. How much would Wemby increase the franchise valuation? 100%?

The Basketball Hornets of Charlotte? Are we talking about the same team?

They are not better than the Bucks, Celtics, 76ers, Heat, Cavs, Raptors (now we’re in the play-in), Hawks, Knicks, Bulls or Nets (now we’re out of the playoffs). They’re on the play-in fringe with a Washington and I’m not sure they have more talent than Detroit, Indiana or Orlando.

Lamelo, Terry, Hayward, Washington, Oubre and…. Blech. That is a trash roster.

That's silly. They won 43 games last season. I get they lost Bridges, but I don't think that makes their roster trash.

Maybe. Let’s check in again once Cam Johnson is back to playing at his level like he did against the Knicks but more consistently.
