Again, no one was against trading Warren. It just needed to be a good trade. And that wasn't a good trade. Indiana would do that trade again if they had to do it over again. They got paid to take Warren, he was an extremely reasonable salary, and they got a great season out of him. No-brainer.Split T wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:50 am
Hasn’t played in 2 years….remember when he went crazy in the bubble season(especially in the bubble) and everyone talked about how big of a steal that trade was for Indy…he’s played 4 games since the bubble and isn’t even on the pacers anymore. Not saying we got good value in that trade as we obviously gave up a pick just to move him, but turns out there was a good reason we sent him packing.
Ya I don’t disagree. Indy made a good trade, but people made it out to be an absolute heist…it wasn’t.INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 12:56 pmAgain, no one was against trading Warren. We can revisit it all we want to, play up the injuries, it still won't be a good deal. Just like when Jones trade Josh Jackson. Yeah, Jackson needed to go, but I've never seen a team give up so much just move someone ON A ROOKIE DEAL.
Agreed on both but didn’t we get Jevon Carter in the Josh Jackson deal? If just kept him instead of trading him and a 1st for fucking Shamet, the deal would look a lot better in my eyes.Split T wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:07 pmYa I don’t disagree. The Josh Jackson trade was bad…we should have just waived and stretched him.
Retro week in the NBA. But you posted in a two week old thread. I guess that works for retro week.
