Feel like this whole “top 8-9 man thing” is just the org laying the groundwork for people to not be as disappointed when they do nothing.
Or to help explain why they traded for Miles(no one else could be in our top 8)

Mat Ishbia traded for Kevin Durant last deadline.
Obviously I’m referring to the ones preceding that.

I don’t think it’s a bad approach. Why waste the little capital you have to add a player that won’t be playing? We don’t need another “take a swing” type of player, we already have 5-6 of those guys. And you can still keep giving them run and trying out different combos. If you’re giving up assets, whoever you’re getting should be a near lock to play, similar to an Eric Gordon.

Ya I agree. Don’t just trade for guys just to trade for them. Now if you’re just taking someone into a TPE and just dumping a failed vet min without giving up any of our real assets like Little(mostly just because he has salary to trade) or the 4 real 2nds, then by all means, do that. I don’t want to trade 2nds and little for someone who is going to just be another Little or KBD.

We’re gonna have yet another trade deadline where we do nothing/add Torrey Craig, aren’t we?
Most likely. That's what I'm counting on. Don't know why you all get your hopes up. It's not like we have anything of value to trade.

This. The Suns assets cupboard is pretty bare, fans have pretty unrealistic expectations.

Yeah the “Torrey Craig” part kind of gave it away.

How would you guys feel about Caleb Martin? I could see him being a target. His twin too.

I'll try to do better of knowing exactly what you're implying next time.

I think it would probably take all of what the Suns can offer besides Allen to get Caleb Martin.

Ya I think he’s probably decided he’s better off getting the chance to do this every night in Charlotte and try to get paid in the summer

I didn’t realize Little and Beal wore the same mask until seeing that pic.
