I was shocked to see that it was the starting lineup. I was really expecting to see a lineup featuring the Morris Twins.

I thought you weren't a fan?

It's carey (and, at the beginning of the year, myself, truth be told) who's not a fan - though he's been coming around where Markieff is concerned lately.

Both twins have worked themselves into one hell of a solid bench anchor for us and I couldn't be happier. Those two had clunky feet of concrete to start the year - now, they're a smooth cog. Markieff handles post-15' while Marcus handles 15'-arc. Love how Marcus can rock someone to sleep, then raise up an knock down mid-rangers in an opponents' face on a regular basis. And, Marcus has been money when he's got his feet set beyond the arc.

And Markieff has definitely become one of the better passers on the team - his outlets and passing in transition have been pinpoint and uncannily precise.

I'm not. But they have been playing very well, and when the Suns win, usually one, if not both, has a big hand in it.

Is your opinion changing at all based on their play as of late?

I wouldn't say my opinion has changed. My willingness to accept them as part of the team going forward has just increased.

We go as the MoBros go it seems, they've been the icing a pleasant surprise of a season to me. You could argue they are the best bench tandem in the league.

Pay the man. Let's just not go crazy. Something reasonable for what he brings to the table.

What's reasonable? 3-4 mil per year, 2 years?

IINM, Tucker is eligible for Early Bird Rights. That means, as long as we wait until the end of our other transactions to sign him, he will count as a pittance against the cap until he signs his new contract, and then the Early Bird Exception can be used to sign him to anything up to the league average salary.

The annual salary is right, but you'd have to offer more than 2 years.

Three years and a 4th as a team option.
