Only for a few weeks now.Wally_West wrote:Great Game! Also I had no idea Shannon Brown was even on Knicks.
It scares me. The Lakers and ping pong balls feels like disaster waiting to happen.Sunsfan4life wrote:I love seeing them and the Lakers being an embarrassment this yr.
Yeah, if you get your jollies off of the Lakers being bad, better enjoy it while it lasts. They'll get a great player in the draft, have ample cap space, and will always be able to attract major free agents.Cap wrote:It scares me. I keep hearing they are packaging whoever they get for Kevin Love unless it's Wiggins/Parker.INFORMER wrote:Yeah, if you get your jollies off of the Lakers being bad, better enjoy it while it lasts. That's the smart play. Just telling you what i heard. They can offer up s&t Pau, their first this year then future firsts. Don't have much else.Mori Chu wrote:I don't think the Lakers have enough assets to trade for Kevin Love, even with a high draft pick. They'd have to woo him as a free agent.
Wat. You can't possibly do better than Kevin Love with a top-7 pick in this draft.INFORMER wrote:A top 7 pick in this draft isn't a bad haul for Kevin Love. If I'm LA, I don't make that trade.
I think that's debatable. But my reasoning wasn't based on thinking LA can get a better player than Love in the draft. That lotto pick is the only asset LA has. It doesn't make any sense to trade for Love when the cupboard is empty. What's the point? To create Minnesota part 2? Adding Love as a free agent makes sense. Trading the lotto pick for him does not.Mori Chu wrote:Wat. That's logical. However, I think Los Angeles is desperate to not have another season like they just had. I think they would like to dump Pringles, trade for Kevin, add another FA (Deng maybe?), and hope Kobe comes back healthy. I just don't know what adding Kevin now does to their cap space with Bryant there making over $20M already. I'm sure they could sign Deng but they'd probably have to stretch provision Nash first. But then what? Couldn't really add much else and X/Kobe/Deng/Love/X doesn't seem all that scary to me.INFORMER wrote:I think that's debatable.
