But if you take our point guard out, it's slightly better at 7 assists to 11 turnovers

Suns commentary:
-There's that jump in the air to pass again. That's something a lot of Suns need to get out of their resume
-Isn't that really fundamental
-Yeah, that's something you get taught really early on

There's your 2016 Phoenix Suns, folks!

The horrible rotations started in game one. The way he just benches players for whole games for no real reason is baffling. Not to mention probably pretty damaging to any sort of confidence our players have.

I can't believe he still has a job.

For all they've done wrong, they have hung really tough, thanks to the young guns (Booker on fire, Len double digit rebounds and a nice cameo from Goodwin)

I didn't see the game, but isn't this an ideal result and what we shuld be rooting for the rest of the way?

A close loss with Booker,Goodwin and Len leading the way?

Although....TJ's mintues don't make a whole lot of sense. Was he realy that bad in limited action?

Benched for lack of hustle according to Hornacek.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

PJ Tucker with 43 minutes. TJ with 3. Glad PJ's hustle and grit helped us with the W.

In this case I am with Hornacek. If you are not even trying on defense, you are not playing. Warren can be Harden-esque at times. The kids still need to learn the right lessons, despite the overall state of the team. We have to realize that tanking doesn't come without perils, one of them being young players developing bad habits.

Taking him out of the game because he didn't hustle is a good teaching moment. The problem is never giving him another chance in the same game to correct his mistake. That just leaves a pissed off player.

You give the kid another shot in the second half or whatever and see if he will then put in the effort.

I think Coach just has a thing for PJ.

Agreed. Although I don't think this is the first time this issue comes up with TJ. Maybe the coach has tried so many times and this is his way of making a real statement to him.
