Austin Rivers got released...Looks like Bucks are gonna sign him instead of Knight.

I think you’re seeing just how players still feel about Sarver. His shit head reputation is still lingering. As the 2 seed players should be lining up to finish the season in Phoenix but they simply aren’t.

Some, like Dieng, may want to be starters

I don’t understand SA cut Aldridge then pick up Dieng because they are in a playoff hunt. Makes no sense to me. It’s like they just want to help the Nets

Nah, they don’t see an avenue to playing time here. Also Dieng is the only one even worth mentioning I think. The others just aren’t that good.

Dieng is better than Aldridge

I disagree. I honestly haven’t watched either this season but the stats aren’t even close in favor of Aldridge

Huh? Are you looking at the right stats? Aldridge scores more and plays more minutes, but that’s it.

Use per-36 and Dieng gets more rebounds, more assists, more steals, and more blocks. He also shoots better from 2, 3, and the FT line. Advanced stats are even more in favor of Dieng. You’re right it’s not close, but in favor of Dieng.

Not a big fan of the PER stat comparing a starter and bench player. If Dieng were a better player he’d have played more on the team that he was on.

I mean LaMarcus got benched by the Spurs...he barely even played since February.

Dieng is a better shooter, rebounder, and defender. Like it’s not even close.

Yea I'm not losing sleep over Aldridge

Pop went with DeMar and Keldon in a small ball lineup and then decided it's better to compliment them with Jakob Poeltl.
What's interesting to me is that lots of ppl lost their minds when Harden went, saying the usual it's only One ball it can't work and so on

Nets proceed to ball out cause it usually is easier for guards to share touches. Now they added bigs who only useful when getting the ball and neither has been really that good with their usage this season either but everyone is like Wow, Bomb Squad so doesn't the one ball matter anymore lol

DeAndre was looking half decent, Jeff Green and now Claxton all do the Low Usage, Don't need plays run for them role well. Just dive to the rim make teams decide if they gonna rotate off the shooters or if they get easy looks hence Beard continuing to rack up the ridiculous assist numbers

Now they gonna run post ups for Blake n LMA and take the ball out of Beard hands ?!?! because he is who runs the 2nd unit and the high post touches or post ups will go to KD eventually. So what are those two really going to consistently add if they only getting a few shots a game and not good in pick n roll D ??

Anyways I'm done
Just seeing all these tweets about this unstoppable 5 has had me smh but hey we'll see

I remember the media getting all excited about the 2004 Lakers too. Shaq, Kobe, Malone, Payton and Grant and that team fell flat on their face.

That team made it to the Finals and lost when Malone had to sit out with an injury. They never lost a series at full strength.

Losing is losing. Just my opinion when you load up like that you are bound to lose.

Jordan-Pippen-Rodman-Kukoc loaded up like that and won three straight.

Never considered Kukoc to bee any good myself (yes personal opinion) I found him to be overrated and could not do as well with out others around him. Those other teams we mentioned have tons of All star experience. I don't remember him having any All Star appearances either though I could be wrong. I'm getting old lol

Malone and Payton were still good players though. At least better than Griffin/Aldridge

Toni Kukoč has a career Value Over Replacement Player rating higher than: Bob McAdoo, Bernard King, Clifford Robinson , Joe Johnson, Peja Stojaković, Joe Dumars, Walter Davis, Glen Rice, Paul Westphal, Rick Barry, Antawn Jamison, Mark Aguirre, Dennis Johnson … to name a few decent players.
