Wonder if the Raps move Brown for more assets?

Toppin for Little?
What does Toppin do that Little doesn't?
Hits 3s at a 40% clip. Provides some much-needed size and athleticism and someone who can share the frontcourt with Durant and 3 guards. Probably bumps Eubanks from the rotation.

He’s a poor rebounder and defender, especially on the perimeter but I think his proven skillset is more bankable than Little’s theoretical one.

I would trust him in a 9-man playoff rotation more than Nas.

He's also got a PG that is spoon feeding everything he does..
Little is shooting 32% from 3…you think the 10% difference is Haliburton?
It's far and away the best % of his career.
And it’s far and away better than Little. You asked what he does that Little doesn’t…this year it’s make 3s.
And before Toppin played with Haliburton, Little was better.
Look at the shot quality our bench is getting when they come in. Little, JO, KBD, Yuta, they’re all WIDE open. Playing with our big 3 would get Obi looks that are just as good.

Well of course Little, JO and KBD are wide open. Why would you bother to guard them out there? Even Yuta is shooting a crappy 3FG% this season although his career numbers are good.

Just in time for us to play the Pacers twice.

Haliburton is currently out though. I believe his revaluation time is between the two games against us, so I would not expect him to play against us on Sunday. Siakam should though.

Sure, but even Grayson Allen is getting a ton of wide open looks next to those guys.

I also think Toppin would be good in high-low action with a passing big like Nurk. Remember those old Diaw-to-Marion plays?

Quite a lot which is why Indy wouldn't make that deal.

I think Giddey has received too much hate for this situation. There far worse people playing in the league that fans forget about or choose to ignore, but Giddey's still getting booed through every game over basically nothing.

The problem with these situations is that people don't seem content to let the justice system do its work. Most folks seem to understand and appreciate the value of "innocent until proven guilty." What about after someone has been investigated or tried and found innocent? At that point the system has decided that they did not do the crime, or not enough evidence is available to prove that they did the crime. It's unfortunate to still go after somebody after a fair trial or investigation found them to be innocent.

In regard to the Indy-Raptors trade, I'm very happy Siakam is staying in the East. I really didn't want to see him end up with Curry or Fox and Sabonis.

My Canadian friend is trying to convince me it's a "solid" deal for Toronto and I don't see it.

Zero lottery picks and zero potential All-Stars. I think they were bent over a barrel.

At least Masai Ujiri didn't let Siakam walk out the door like FVV, so I guess he cleared the lowest possible bar. Congrats.

3 1sts is decent. They should’ve traded him last year or over the summer if they wanted something substantial. Bruce Brown is solid and could fetch a decent return if they turn around and trade him.

I'm OK with saying it's a "decent" return, I guess. It seems I just don't value non-lottery first round picks as highly as most.

I don't know what they could really get for Brown. $22M with a team option so basically expiring. Who's going to give up a young player to get him? Or why would the Raptors take on a longer contract to acquire another low first rounder?

Toronto is up 47-18 on Miami in their first game without Siakam 😳

Raptors are shooting 14-19 (73%) from 3 and it's not even half time. Make or miss league.

Ya I’m not sure..I think a few playoff teams would be interested in Brown…probably not going to get a significant player in return, but maybe a half interesting young player and a late 1st. Contracts might get tricky to match for a few teams. Philly/Sacramento/Minny are a few teams off the top of my head that might have interest.
