Whenever I happen to catch part of a Celtics game I am shaken by just how much better than us they look. It's like, if we really think we are contenders for a title, we're going to have to go through them. I just don't see it.

We’ve seen this before though…Boston isn’t as good in the playoffs. They still might win as they are very good, but they’ve looked like the best team in basketball the 1.5 seasons before this one too and lost.

Yea I'm taking a wait-and-see approach. They've been a machine in the regular season but so are lots of teams. I still don't think they've got the depth for a deep playoff run.

We'd be lucky to have the opportunity to get that far. But I'd like to see.

The one thing with Boston is they really need Porzingis to reach their full potential. And he's injury prone. So a hypothetical setback with his health could hurt their postseason.

If I had to bet a bunch of money on one team right now to take the championship, it'd be Boston. But I really think that whoever is healthiest throughout the playoffs between the Celts and Nuggets will end up winning. Both at full health, Boston in a close series.

Well, there is a reason Vegas has the odds this way.

It was what he didn’t say that got him the tech.

Looks like he waved him off. I don't know if there are rules or protocols about talking to players on the bench during TOs. If not, maybe there should be? Should be a time for players and refs to take a break and cool off. Even so, these refs sometimes get on power trips and get offended too easily. They gotta be better.

Well, as usual, we don't know what was said, so it's hard to say whether he deserved a technical or not, but the whole thing might have been avoided if Brothers hadn't followed him over to the bench area. That certainly made the incident a lot more likely to happen.
