Hornacek is a one trick pony. Can we get a lineup change or two? Clearly this ain't working. And enough with the small ball

The first things they need to do is cut down on the turnovers and play more consistent defensively and offensively. Part of the problem defensively is that they're using guys like Teletovic, Leuer, Tucker and Morris for so many of the minutes up front and there's no deterrent in the lane. They have two pretty good rim protectors in Len and Chandler and they don't use them.

In Chandler's defense, he was sick and wasn't available.

Was that the guy that had both guns ablazin' then holstered them to pull an arrow from the quiver on his back, pulled back, and let it fly? All imaginary and all in like 3.5 seconds?

That was my guess as well.

Dude, he played Len this time and won. Maybe he should play that guy more. Seems like his defense really impacts games!
It marked the first of five consecutive Suns games against opponents with losing records, but New Orleans had won the teams’ first two meetings with big men Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson dominating and Suns center Alex Len largely watching.

Both of those things changed Friday night, when the Suns led by as many as 16 points in the first half with Anderson being shut out and Davis being held without a field goal until nearly the midpoint of the second quarter. After averaging 53.5 points combined in the Pelicans’ first two wins against the Suns, Davis (16) and Anderson (three) only combined for 19 points Friday night with Anderson never making a field goal in 21 minutes.
Go Suns!

I love Len, both in terms of his on court impact and also his future potential. I think he was a huge part of the win over the Pelicans, with tremendous rebounding on both sides of the ball and decisiveness and confidence on offense.

But I would say a large part of this win should be credited to Leuer, who often played AD straight up with great effect. He is probably our best matchup against quicker 4s who don't bully slimmer players inside. The upgrade on defense with Leuer over Markieff (even though the latter showed some pulse) was equally impressive. I also love seeing the chemistry that Len and Leuer seem to be developing.
