I wish there was an option in the poll for "none of the above, because we will trade the pick". I think McD is committed to using it as a trade chip to either (a) move up in the draft or (b) use it to trade for a more established player.

Both guys will need to be worked in with smaller roles. Honestly could probably benefit from a real minor league system to play on for a year.
Long past time for a real minor league system to give players a viable alternative to the NCAA. Darius Bazley seems to think the G League already is that, but his decision AFAIK is unique. The G League needs better pay and better players; the former will help with the latter.
G-league needs more teams, too.

I agree. I would say the more likely options are that we pick again at about 10-11 or don't pick at all having traded the pick for a veteran player.

How would you guys feel about coming away from this draft with Ayton and Mikal Bridges?

Thoughts on trading Warren, Milwaukee pick next year, Chriss and Brandon Knight to the Pelicans for Jrue Holiday?

Gets Pelicans out of his contract, can resign Cousins, they get Brandon Knight and another perimeter player in TJ and have a draft pick to work with.

Holiday is on a big deal but his playoffs this year convinced me he is worth it if he can stay healthy. He would be a great defensive point guard next to Booker.

Holiday
Booker
Jackson/Bridges
Bender/Bridges
Ayton

I don't think new Orleans is trying to get out of that contract. He's more valuable than cousins at this point. But if he was available, he is the ideal PG to put next to booker, IMO

They’re going to take on Knight’s contract to get out of Jrue’s? Jrue’s contract is bigger, but Knight’s is worse.

Bigger? It's nearly double.

And Holiday is infinitely more useful

I know it’s unlikely, but man I’d love to get him and use Knight to make the cash work. It would help them out too I think Warren would do well slashing with Davis and Cousins being good passers. They could use Knight in a shooting off ball role and his contract really isn’t that bad relatively speaking if he can get back to being a halfway decent player.

Knight
?Tyreke Evans
Warren
Cousins
Davis

Jrue Holiday isn't getting moved. They gave him that huge deal after he essentially was out for most of the season. They love him. And now he dominates Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, gets the Pelicans tot he second round, and even shows well against the mighty Warriors?!

Yeah, they're not looking to move him, let alone salary dump him.

The idea that the Pels would give us Jrue Holiday for complete ass like Brandon Knight is not likely.

Some nice prospects in here for 16 and 31.

Divencenzo/Heurter/Khryi/okogie/kbd are my favorites

Better draft him at 16 then.

First, I don't know if they will even have a 16th pick, and second I'm undecided on whether I like him as much as other prospects at 16.

Ya I liked him at 31 too, don't know enough about him to push for him at 16, but I wouldn't be upset if we got him

On second thought, I might just take him at 16 and not worry too much about it if the 1st pick is Ayton.

I have no problem drafting him at 16.

His shot reminds me of Barbosa's. The way he shots it from out front and the low release.

Since there is Dzanan Musa on the list and you probably don't know him too well, I will put here my opinion on him. I know him probably even better then Doncic, since he plays in our regional league.

PROS: Dzanan is extremely skilled player. His size is great for a SG, he can shoot from whatever position. Also his penetration and finish under the rim is very reliable. He plays smart, doesn't have a lot of turnouvers and is a solid rebounder. Great with ball. If he gets into the rhythm he is literally unstoppable. Solid athlete, better than some other European guys. He has a lot of room for improvement.

CONS: He is not the strongest guy, but he can improve that. Very inconsistent defender, sometimes he seems like he is saving his power for attack. His court vision is not the best, but also not so bad. Sometimes he can be selfish.

I believe that he will become very useful NBA player some day. Suns should consider picking him if they pick center at 1. But I don't know American guys in that area of draft standings, so I can't compare him to them.
