What am I missing? Something between Garnett and LeBron?

It was Ray Allen walking over and KG just looked off not wanting to make eye contact or congratulate. I think the story is that KG never forgave Allen for leaving Boston for Miami. Pierce might've had some feelings too.

Ah...Thank you.

I mean, if you got to choose between playing in Boston with KG and Pierce, or playing in Miami with Lebron and Wade, it seems like a no brainer.

Same with Durant, but a lot more people like to kill him for leaving Russell Westbrook to play with the guys in Oakland.

I think it has a lot more to do with them just losing a 7 game series to the same Warriors after being up 3-1 and Durant performing rather poorly in the final two games than a straight up comparison between Westbrook and Curry.

Ray Allen lost a Game 7 of the ECF with Boston against the same Heat team that he eventually joined in the next offseason.

If there's any nit to be picked its that Durant is a higher skilled player and should be able to win with "less", but that argument has plenty of holes.

This might be the end for Dragic, back where he started under Nash.

That's not even the Celtics' Big Three (Bird, Parish, McHale).

But his contract was up, and he knew that several years in advance. He started his career there in Seattle, and got stuck with the team that moved to Oklahoma of all places, and he even re-signed with them. I mean almost nobody wants to live in Oklahoma, much less commit to being there for years. He already spent 8 years there, and knew he was wasting his career there. He was going somewhere, and likely a costal city. It was the same money regardless, so why not take the best option?

I have my thoughts on Durant, but it’s ok, I’m not trying to convince anybody to hate him. Just trying to say that him having went to what should’ve been the best team in the league at the time exacerbated the perception around him.
