I hate saying this because it makes me sound like a hater & complainer, but I'm watching this OKC/Dallas game right now and I've determined no one in the league gets a softer whistle than Luka Doncic. You aren't allowed to guard him really. He just kind of bodies you with these herky-jerky movements and if you touch him at all whenever he randomly pulls up you're cooked.

And the worst part is he is allowed to yell at the refs with impunity.

SGA is a similar player. Those are some of the calls the nba is considering adjusting next year according to Lowe.

Ok I’m officially backtracking on my underwhelmed opinion of Dallas at the deadline. They might be a problem. Gafford has been phenomenal in this game.

Dallas up 36 on OKC deep in the 4th.

With 5 minutes left in the game the Clippers (up by 2) do not have a single offensive rebound.

Jalen Duren just smashed Norman Powell with his elbow and blood was all over the court. Dude stayed down for a while.

The Mavs are a problem now. As are the clips and nuggets. Okc still too fresh. Minny has too many stupid players.

Ya if it lines up right…I can see the conference semifinals being LAC, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix…it likely won’t line up that perfectly though. I feel pretty good about our chances if we get OKC or Minny in round 1. Not great if we get Denver or LAC

Dallas just provided the evidence that OKC is a flawed team in the playoffs. They're too small in the front court and won't be able to get away with playing two shaky shooters in their ideal lineup.

I think the nba needs to start changing rules where there is a proper way to guard a player without getting a foul called.

For example: with Giannis, if two players are both in movement and they bump into each other with their bodies it’s a no call. It should only be a foul if the defensive player makes contact with their hands. And to be fair, Book gets this call too, and I still don’t think it should be a foul.

That is the one thing Hayward does…lets them take Giddey out. Giddey got the Okogie treatment and he couldn’t make anything

True. However, counting on Hayward to be consistently available might be just as shaky for them.

Probably not. He'll go where he belongs, the end of the bench.
