I’m tempering my excitement…. I’ve seen this before and don’t want to get my hopes up 😂
It's happening, dude! What I'm wondering is how this affects us out-of-staters and NBA LP.

In Ishbia we trust! We have all been awoken by the Sun. Let him lead us to the promised land.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I think Payne will be traded just for draft capital and salary savings, and we'll use the open roster spot on Bol Bol.

Imagine if we had Ainge as our GM... We'd be bringing back 3 first rounders for Payne :P

I haven't seen any breaking news tweets yet. Cam must know something we don't.

I’m ashamed to say I’ve forgotten how good Nash was.

Why are we waiting to sign Bol? Gambo is talking like it’s a done deal, but we’re waiting…could be he’s just not available, but maybe there’s another reason? Gambo also saying we could move Payne and that we see Goodwin as the backup pg.

Gambo specifically mentioned next week for when Bol will sign. The 2nd round picks trade…there’s just some things going on that don’t all add up yet…where’s the windy fingers meme…

I don't know if he was the best overall point guard that we ever had, but he was certainly the best pure passer/playmaker.

The Jared Dudley coaching highlight film has begun.

The Mavericks were called for a backcourt violation.

Remember, the Mavericks had a similar play last season where they defended the wrong basket.

This makes me feel like we are trying to trade Payne to a team that will take his whole salary and maybe gives us a couple 2nd round picks back.

Maybe Spurs? Not sure which teams still have cap space right now

Use Bol Bol to fill his roster spot and try to trade our TPE with our newly acquired 2nd round picks.

For sure that sounds accurate. Probably only a few teams that still have cap space as you mentioned too. Maybe the Jazz, Pistons and/or Pacers as the top 3 teams with protected cap space?

But not sure what players we'd target from any of those teams for further positional depth, or else for cap reduction?

Teams could take him into their cap exceptions too, so anyone on this list with more than 6.5 million could take him without sending back salary.
