UGH. Love JMZ, but why? Doesn't make sense with Tucker here it's the exact same role.
Go Suns!

It's a funny world we live in where $10million a season is "good value"

They could plan to start two small forwards, a combo of Tucker, Dudley, and Warren. Ryan could have, and has, done a lot worse.
Free Agency
DeMar Derozan for the minimum!

I suspect that could well be the case.

Dudley looks fluffy enough to be a 4.

Can we just resign or own free agents now and sit out the craziness. Could get some deals done when the dust settles and everyone else is think " what the f did we just do"

signing dudley (another veteran) would indicate taht suns going for the playoffs this year, not tanking. at least that's their initial intention.

Looks like Dudley at the 4 is at least part of the plan.
Dudley, who is 6 feet 7, played almost exclusively at power forward and even at center in extreme small-ball lineups for the Wizards, while stretching out defenses with 42 percent 3-point shooting that ranked eighth in the NBA. Before a late-season slump, Dudley once led the NBA in 3-point percentage and ranks 41st all-time with a career 3-point percentage of 39.9.
“I don’t even see myself as a 3 (small forward),” Dudley told azcentral sports last season. “I’m a 4 (power forward), a stretch 4, because that’s where the game is. That’s for me to prolong my career.

“I’m Channing (Frye) 2.0 because I’ll put it down.”

Idk. I don't really care. The only thing I care about right now is not seeing Tucker in the starting lineup come Halloween.

Knight or Booker? Don't care. Warren or PJ? Do care. I'd also like to see Len start and Chandler bring the vet rebounding to the 2nd unit which will be full of young guys.

Bledsoe/Ulis
Knight/Booker/Goodwin/Jenkins
Warren/PJ
Dudley/Bender/Chriss
Len/Chandler/Williams
Go Suns!

Best thing about Duds is he'll teach the kids how to be professionals. The team needs a vocal leader who actually wants to be here, thats him. Not Chandler, not Bledsoe, Dudley.

Hard to get really excited about this - we can play either the veteran SF who cant rebound at PF or the veteran SF who can rebound at PF.

Neither one of them has much athleticism to speak of.

10mil is the new MLE. Dudley will tech the kids how to be professional while having fun. I don't expect to compete for the next 2 yrs (atleast) and neither should you. When I say compete I mean for a playoff spot, not play hard in general.

You have to expect between Knight/Chandler/Tucker 2 of the three are gone for picks/prospects by next summer. There deals are looking better by the second. As someone mentioned earlier, all 3 of thhose guy's values double when you trade them to a contender.

Carey, go tell David Ryan to go F himself. Dude has no idea he started half the season for the Wizards.
