On paper, we're probably one of the 5-6 worst teams in the NBA with the 76ers, Nets, Lakers, Kings and... Mavericks?

I'd throw nuggets, pelicans, magic, and twolves in there too. Those teams should be better, especially pelicans and twolves, but I wouldn't be surprised if they struggle.

I think Magic will be more competitive, if not straight up better record-wise, with all the defense they've added and a clear commitment to that side of the ball that Vogel has demonstrated in the past. Jeff Green was a total head-scratcher though.

Jeff Green has been pretty awful the last three seasons or so.

One of the best things Presti did was not keeping him as part of the OKC core.

The Nuggets have a really interesting roster that could surprise this year. No star talent, but so much quality depth.

But also so many injury problems.

Inf, I'm curious what you see in Faried. I don't really like him to be honest.

I just like his energy, rebounding. He isn't a perfect player, but he is effective. May be a bit of a head case from what I've heard.

He is undersized, can't make a shot from the free throw line, and can't really play defense despite all his effort. I do like the energy and motor, but I think at this point he is what he is. Given his injury problems I don't think his ego and current value match.

I think the Mavs won't be included in that group but the rest are prob correct. How bout 3 of this teams being in the pacific? Ouch.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”
