They need to treat him like he has the gas tank of a lawn mower. You need to constantly gas him up. Before the game, at every timeout, at halftime, at the start of the 4th quarter and afterwards. "Let's go dawg, you got this!" "You are showing them Dominayton tonight!" "You keep showing you are one of the badest dudes on the planet" ect...
Well fucking said. He is who he is. He’s not the most emotionally intelligent guy out there in terms of self regulation and relationship mgt. Sometimes you don’t learn this shit until you’ve lost your peak athleticism. He gets down under pressure and doesn’t know how to keep himself consistent.

We should have drafted Doncic.
It's not even about Doncic. It's about all the generational talent talk, walking around in a Suns jersey before even picked, the empty promises about turning it on and dominating, Ryan's asinine 1-on-none draft workout praise, the talking heads insisting it just had to be Ayton, blah blah blah.
A bit early to judge, dont you think?
Way too early. Let’s revisit in 5 years.

If nothing else, the tournament at least helps him come into training camp in a more positive frame of mind, after all of the negativity surrounding how the season ended. That alone could be huge.

Prediction: Ayton will end up with a better career than Doncic.
Loll
Boy that aged well…. Lmao. No way Ayton touches Lukas value… ever.
It's actually still very possible. Just wait until Doncic ends up like Harden 2.0...could be at a way younger age too. You forget about the NBA's rich history of megastars who just aren't winners and lose value fast.

I’m praying Ayton will have a Horry-like career, hopefully while being less of a jerk. Dude won seven championships; probably wasn’t a top-three player on any of them.

Harden could average 3 ppg and 10 turnovers for the rest of his career and it would still shit on DA.

Get an All-Star bid first at least before you can even sniff any discussion like that

James Harden is a first ballot hall of famer.
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Grant Nelson or Tyler Kolek.

I would be delighted if Ayton's career turned out as successful as James Harden's.

You forgot that ayton hasn’t even sniffed Lukas jock in regards to talent and accomplishments…. Let’s get there first before tossing out Lukas downfall, Ayton hasn’t even risen up yet.

I’m not sad we don’t have Luka(I’m not a fan), but he’s clearly better, that’s not a question. If I could go back and redraft, I’d take SGA at 1.

I would hate to have to root for Luka. I’m not sad about not having him, I’m sad about not drafting him because he’s clearly a superior asset to have.

I hated rooting for CP3, and I love that I can go back to hating him

Ya that’s how I feel about Luka…though I’d probably feel differently if he started his career here.

I think CP3 on the Warriors is going to be a really bad fit. I think the Warriors have a rough year ahead of them.

You might be right. There is a thought out there by some that CP3 will be waived at some point in the season, when it's obvious that it's not working. Idk if that will happen or not. I could see it going either way, but know that CP3 has not been the same since his 37th birthday.

Relevant article, thinking is consistent with mine. With him performing at a statistically high level already even though he has many lapses, fix a few and all of a sudden you're performing at record breaking levels. I think he's capable of 15 rpg.
