I thought this was interesting:

What mostly stands out is that Giannis and Scottie Barnes apparently shouldn't be shooting hook shots.

Surprises me that Jarrett Allen has been so good at them.

It's funny that Ayton and Claxton are mirror images.

Claxton makes $8.6M annually

BUT HE DOESNT BRING DOMINANCE BECAUSE HIS NAME DOESNT FIT CREATIVELY INTO DOMINATING LIKE DOMINAYTON

DomiClaxton anyone? Yeah, it doesn't really roll off the tongue.

I found it most interesting that Nurk has a better FG% on them than DA. Wouldn’t have predicted that.

Just means Nurkic should shoot more books than try those sorry ass attempts at layups.

Not a bad last couple of games for the DominAyton...

26pts, 19 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl and 1 blk vs the hornets

22pts, 10 reb, and 3 ast vs. the nuggets.

both losses... but have to give him credit when he plays halfway decent.

Been too busy the last week to follow what DA's been doing, but now y'all have dragged me back in...

You left out the FG%, though. ;)

11-17 vs. DEN and 11-16 vs CHA.

Let's be honest now, does nobody see anything insanely stupid about this shot distribution:

Ayton 11-16
Grant 6-18
Simons 4-21

He had the most made FTs and made FGs on the third most attempts for Portland, and had 11 more points than their second highest scorer.

The score was 93-80, so their problem was certainly not defense.

I don't know who has thought he's fallen, I for one have always thought he's underachieved. Seems par for the course. He's a decent C, not much more. Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane.

Come on. You have to admire the guy. He figured out how to get that huge contract for limited and inconsistent production. He's a gamer and gamed the system. Step 1: Be 7 feet tall and muscular. The 7 feet part is the toughest.

Talk to me at the end of the season. Other than Nurk's last game, they are on opposite trajectories for the season.

Not counting Nurk's 8-game "season," he's only averaged a double-double two times in his career, and it's looking very possible that he will fail to make it three.

Nurk has been better than Ayton this year. Add in Grayson Allen, you have a grand slam of a trade.
