Yeah, I would be curious how many current GMs have a 5 year tenure.

Everyone was perplexed when he gave Peja that big deal in 2006. It was a 5 year deal and he steadily declined the minute he stepped on the floor and was never healthy.

I'm OK with this from the standpoint that we have an experienced front office person with contacts around the league and with agents. We'll see how he does this offseason, working with Jones and working under Sarver.

I'm not sure any good is going to come from this, but it's better than going with McHale or Paxson.

The Suns have conditioned me to have low expectations. I was worried they were going to hire somebody with zero experience or somebody who was a total train wreck. So by contrast to that, I guess this is good news? But I don't think 10 teams were lined up to hire this guy. Feels like a low ceiling high floor move to me.
