I'm hopeful but that little voice in my head is telling me not to trust Sarver. We'll see.Split T wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 10:19 amThis is the most optimistic I’ve been about this team in awhile. Sarver is saying the right things, everyone around him is supporting him and agree that he’s changed. We have two guys(Jones and Williams)in charge who are very highly respected in the nba. We have an experienced front office guy(Bower)to help Jones. We have young talent(booker, Ayton, Oubre, Bridges) that want to be here. We have trade chips(TJ, TJ, Melton, okobo, Mil pick) we have some cap space and avenues to more cap space, and we have the #6 pick.
We won’t make the playoffs and we don’t need too, but I think significant improvement will come from just staying healthy, natural progression from our youth, and adding a couple steadying influences.
Jones is respected, but I'm not sure he's any good at his job yet. It still seems like we have a bare-bones front office. We're posting job ads for scouts on LinkedIn, FFS.Split T wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 10:19 amThis is the most optimistic I’ve been about this team in awhile. A sure sign of a toxic personality is when everyone around them is talking about how they've changed. We'll know little Robbie has really changed when the news is no longer about him.Split T wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 10:19 amThis is the most optimistic I’ve been about this team in awhile. I actually found it to be boring. Maybe boring is a good thing though.Superbone wrote:The Woj Pod podcast interviewing Monty Williams is fantastic!

I haven't listened because I expect that it's a bunch of coach-speak. Am I wrong?carey wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 12:01 amI actually found it to be boring. Maybe boring is a good thing though.Superbone wrote:The Woj Pod podcast interviewing Monty Williams is fantastic!

No--You can pick up a couple quotes and get a complete understanding of the interview.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 12:59 amI haven't listened because I expect that it's a bunch of coach-speak. Pretty much what Indy said. Also, it's widely known already but Monty is very religious. He talks about how his youth basketball coach was the first person to bring him to coach and the role that has taken in his life. Expect the locker room to find a little Jesus this year.Indy wrote:
