Brett Brown has been schooling Nick Nurse (that's a lot of alliteration.)
Go Suns!

It's crazy how no matter how many overtimes there are, no coach ever rests his starters at all. They're so worried these days about limiting players' minutes but then when OTs happen, it's like that concern no longer exists. The two coaches should have called a truce and put in their bench players for at least some of it lol.

Toronto is frustrating to watch, because they are a better built team in terms of player fit and skillset. But Philly just has more talented starters. I'd love for Siakam to take over the series, but it's not going to happen.
Toronto was supposed to have the better bench in this series, but that has not the case so far.
I thought for sure the ECF would be Milwaukee/Toronto. But almost nobody has shown up for the Raptors. Gasol hasn't given them what they need and Lowry is performing his annual postseason choke job. I feel bad for the franchise because this lackluster playoff performance is probably guaranteeing that Kawhi will leave. If they had gone to the Finals, say, wouldn't he have to at least consider staying and being part of a perennial Finals team? But now with nobody really stepping up rather than a rookie, I don't see any chance that he stays. Poor Raps. In the long run they probably should have just kept DeMar who loved the city and wanted to retire a Raptor.
They have Pascal Siakam. But I can totally see Leonard leaving regardless of what the Raps do.

True. I might think twice about taking Leonard out if I were Nurse. They seem to completely fall apart when he's out.

Siakam was the "rookie" to whom I was referring. But why would Leonard stay just for Siakam?

Oh god. I feel so stupid. I don't know if I just had him mixed up with a different player or what. But I honestly thought he was new this year. Sorry about that.

He's having a breakout season. The media didn't really talk about him at all previously.

He was taken 23 picks after Bender and 19 picks after Chriss.

Is anybody else rooting for the Sixers? It might be helpful for Monty to keep getting deeper playoff experience.

I still find myself rooting for Toronto. IOW, the Williams hire didn’t affect who I’m rooting for. In fact selfishly, I think it’d be better for the Suns for him to get knocked out earlier so he can start concentrating on our situation.

That we badly botched that draft.

If we end up with Ja in the draft, both Millsap and Aminu make some sense as FA targets.

I was joking. It was pretty much rhetorical.

Congrats to Denver for tying up the series and making it a best 2 out of 3. These two teams are soooo evenly matched.

He does, but it’s a team option. He might push them into the luxury tax...and they do have Michael Porter Jr waiting to play
