Not bad; that's a record high price for the purchase of an NBA franchise, right? I agree with you that maybe it'll pique Saver's attention and get him thinking about selling. That'd be the dream scenario.O_Gardino wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 9:14 amDunno who might care here, but Joseph Tsai is about to complete his purchase of the Nets. Over 2 Billion for the Nets? Maybe Little Bobby should sell high, eh? I'll be glad to have Mikhail Prokhorov out of the league, and I hope Joseph Tsai isn't as big a creep.

He just turned 29 a couple days ago. Will be interesting to see if he ever starts again in his career.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:35 amThree leg injuries (Achilles, quad, ACL) in a year. That's pretty brutal. How the mighty have fallen.
That's too bad. I think I'm a bigger fan of Cousins than most; that's just a bummer. I wanted to see him get back at least close to his previous form.Indy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 11:58 amHe just turned 29 a couple days ago. WCS signed with the Warriors.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 4:52 pmGotta feel bad for Boogie. Off-season injuries are the worst.
I'm not sure what to think from the Lakers perspective. The most obvious conclusion is negative because they're losing a core player. On the other hand, this clears up some of the roster confusion they created for themselves. AD, WCS, and Boogie should all be playing most of their minutes at the 5, but I think this injury pushes AD into that spot in spite of his desire to play the 4.
That's really going to change his impact on the Lakers and their minutes distribution at center.Shabazz wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 6:13 pmWCS signed with the Warriors.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 4:52 pmGotta feel bad for Boogie. Off-season injuries are the worst.
