Prob should have made reference to Donovan Mitchell and not Doncic, as that was who I originally made the PER comparison to a few weeks ago (27 for Mitchell vs 20 for Booker at the time), but good to know that Mitchell's PER is now below 20.
Not that I cared too much about the direct comparison but I still couldn't get comfortable with Mitchell being viewed as the better player, statistically or otherwise.
One more comment to add to the PER rant - it also doesn't take into consideration the timing of hitting shots, so if Booker is shooting at an all time high clip, and is doing it at the end of games (I think there's some stats out there that measure this) then Booker's relatively low PER be damned (although I expect it to tick upwards, as stated yesterday).
