I saw someone post on Twitter that Ayton never pump-fakes ever. 1) It's true. 2) It would help his game so much if when he caught the ball at the free throw line he did anything to throw his defender off balance so he could get to the hoop. Pump-fake, jab-step, anything.

I wanted to throw something at the TV when he caught the ball 12 feet from the rim with only Huerter between him and a layup. Instead he hesitates and tries to get cute with a pass to a late cutter. Turnover.
