Why do the suns insist on this carousel of hot garbage point guards?? What’s the point. Trading one shitty guard for another. I don’t get it. So many opportunities to pick up players with actual talent, and they insist on this ever revolving door of the worst players available

We also don't know who caught the 'rona and who may or may not be going to Orlando. If Rubio were to opt out of Orlando, we'll need the guard depth and get a look at a younger player.

We have had so many opportunities to get players with actual NBA level talent. We continue to pass on those opportunities and instead go after Cameron Payne, Mike James, Isaiah Canaan, etc. etc.

That’s a good point. Payne makes more sense if Rubio tested positive. Or even if Okobo or Carter tested positive.

Sure, but there aren’t exactly good PG’s just sitting around right now not on a team. Trey Burke would have been a smart move. Is Shane Larkin eligible? Can’t remember when he last played, though I believe he said he won’t come back to the nba without a guaranteed rotation spot.

Whenever I see a weird signing like this, I always want to know who the player's agent is. Maybe Payne's agent is also the agent of one of our stars, or of some other FA we are after. Any idea?

Someone mentioned Payne was on the OKC team Monty Williams and a few of our current assistants coached for.

Stephen A. Smith now wants Devin Booker on the Knicks, not Lakers

Somebody tell SAS he can go kiss a brick.

I really hate sports analysts who can only view the league through the lens of what they view as its "elite" or "marquee" market franchises. All they seem to care about are the Lakers, the Knicks, Celtics, teams like that. They miss all these other good teams because they just don't care about a city/market like, say, New Orleans or OKC or Phoenix.

Today's article from Gina on the practice at Veteran's Memorial Coliseum today.

Thought this was interesting:
Williams also did not confirm that Kelly Oubre Jr. will sit out the games in Orlando following meniscus surgery in early March, which was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

Yet the coach suggested nobody else has chosen to opt out of the restart for personal or health reasons.

P.S. If you haven't signed up for her newsletter, you really should. It is free until the games start, and then still some content will be free. Here is a nice summary of what to expect:

+1. I'll be giving her my money instead of The Athletic.

LOL because the Knicks are such a much better run organization that the Suns.

Don't be played by ESPN talking heads.
