“The national anthem means different things to different people,” Barkley said during the TNT broadcast. “I’m glad these guys are unified. If people don’t kneel, they’re not a bad person. I want to make that perfectly clear. I’m glad they had unity, but if we have a guy who doesn’t want to kneel because the anthem means something to him, he should not be vilified.”

Ya I don’t have a problem with what Isaac did. He didn’t say anything against what his fellow players are doing. To him it’s not the answer and that’s fine.

I know what you mean, Indy. Zion is the much more exciting prospect who attacks the basket and draws fouls.

But at this point in their careers, Zion is on a 15 minute per game restriction. At this point, he's been injured and out for more games than he has played, even going back to college. There are some very valid concerns that he will ever be a healthy player.
If you are talking about THIS season and this season alone, I get it. But if you had to sign one of them for the next 5 years on a rookie contract, you take Zion every single day. He might turn into Greg Oden, but you take that chance.

Only die hard Suns fans would prefer Ayton to Zion at this point in their careers.
Really? At this point, Zion has been a player with red tape all over him from a health perspective. I don't agree. Especially in the context of "at this point in their careers". I don't want a guy with serious potential health concerns that can only play 15 minutes a game or thereabouts and has his frame and explosiveness putting wear and tear on those knees night in and night out. Hard to bank on him having a long and healthy career.

So he might turn into Greg Oden and that's a good gamble? What do you see Ayton turning into, considering he's been putting up pretty regularly since his return 20+ points, 12 rebound, 3 blocks, crazy efficient FG% and adding a 3 pointer to his arsenal? Are those just ho hum numbers that won't improve and the potential of an aggressive, injury plagued explosive 6'7 SF/PF is the every single day guy you opt for?

Just checked. Zion had 13 points, 0 rebounds and 2 turnovers for a team low -16 +/- and we're just die hard Suns fans. Any real basketball savant would clearly take Zion.

Blazers beat the Grizzlies in OT which I think helps our cause.

I will go with it's not , I think in our highly improbable scenario that we want Grizz cruise and lock up the 8th while the four bunched together ahead of us rack up some losses
Our 1% chance is getting 9th :)

That was some game between Rockets n Mavs
Happy to see Trey play well , hope he used most his bullets just now tho and not that hot against us lol
Mavs are efficient but their D can be attacked. Gonna need our rotations to be good and for DA to dominate the defensive glass

Ya pretty impossible for us to catch grizzlies, so we need them to get the 8 seed and for us to be within 4 games of them in 9th. We’re 5 games back of them right now. So just need to make up 1 game. Need to make up 3 games on Portland

Well, we moved up 1 game on them, so that's good. Pretty much have to win them all. Next up Dallas will be tough but we've kind of had their number.

We could win them all and still not make it. We have to win them all and also get a little luck.

This is very true. I guessed this would be the near best consolation prize to not making the playoffs. Right after also winning the lottery. :D

Well, I did tell my mom that our chances are: "Slim to none and Slim has left town."

This is a great pass for any PG in the league, much less a 7-2 rookie center

I think we’d get the 9 seed if we win them all. 2 games behind most teams and I don’t see any of them going 6-2. Portland has 3 on us, but they’ve got a brutal schedule.

Of course us going 8-0 is more unlikely.

Brutal game from Seth Curry.
