Well I don’t hate it. The 2022 pick shouldn’t be great. We maintain cap space and our pick this year.

Really curious what the protection is on that pick...

No worries, think we did it at the same time. I deleted mine.

Nadel has a team option for this year, so I assume we can renounce his rights if we don't want him... not sure if he had to be included to make things match up

Nader isn‘t bad. Do we keep him?

Kept the pick, kept Cam, got rid of two very good players on good deals but have to make that deal. Like I said it another thread, that's how you build a team with good assets and flip them for a star. Good players that other teams want on good contracts.

Nader has a 1.7 million team option. He’s a 27 year old sf who shot 37.5% from 3 last year. Not a bad 11-12th guy. Or just a piece we can waive and free space.

I think Kelly was a huge part of the culture change last year, but he was an expiring deal, there would have been tons of talk about that this season with people assuming we were looking to flip him at the deadline instead of lose him for nothing, yadda yadda yadda. We need some athleticism on this team, but Kelly was gone in 6 months anyway.

I think that is a well-protected pick.

So CP3-Booker-Bridges-Cam-Ayton with 18 million in space and the #10 pick.

I keep Payne, draft a playable wing at 10(Bey, Nesmith, Bane, etc.) Use most of capspace on bpa. I’d prefer Wood, but Gallo or Millsap seems more likely. Room exception on another shooter in the back court.

Could conceivably release Payne and Carter to have more space and re-sign with room exception.

Phewwwww. I'm so glad they didn't include Cam or #10. I think I can live with this trade. I don't know if CP3 will push us up into another level, but he certainly has the potential to do so. And some of the other good Western teams, like the Rockets, are taking a step back this year. So I think we should have a very strong chance to make the playoffs.

If we don't make it this year, say goodbye to Booker.
