Diaw and Matrix showed out in the second half to get the win. We won because of them two (Frank and Bridges)

We didn’t see IMO much change in CP3. Same shit, so my excitement in a one-off win is pretty tempered.

Abdul Nader might be my least favorite Sun ever.

Kelly Oubre still sucks.
What’s your issues with Nader?
He’s a total black hole and is awful on D
He does need to pass, but he’s got size, a decent shot, decent athlete. When the shot isn’t falling, he’s frustrating, but he’s the only guy in our bare bones 2nd unit that attacks the rim consistently right now. He’s a little like a diet-Oubre on offense, so I’m not surprised you don’t like him, but he doesn’t bring all the extra stuff you hated most about Kelly. Seems like Kelly would still take your least favorite suns title...at least recently.
Of course I’m exaggerating. Kelly Oubre is my least favorite Sun ever

I’m actually feeling good vibes on this, Suns win.
We’ve got ourselves a new pregame ritual.

Wiseman had his best stats so far this season last night with 25pts off the bench. He took advantage of the not good bench bigs on the Wolves but unfortunately our Bench bigs not the best either right now so this probably a big key tonight
Big Frank has something to say about that.

Hey we're playing fast, getting quick shots, hitting cutters and have an 11-5 lead. Look at that.
Crazy how we played up tempo basketball tonight and we suddenly looked pretty good.

Moore and Frank with 2 misses inside. Gallo knocked down a 3 so that's a good sign.

Good pace for now tho.
Moore has been driving me crazy the last couple games. I thought he was a shooter. It seems like he’s very reluctant to shoot. He wasn’t much better tonight.

If we ever get Saric back I’m not sure how you can justify Frank having a roster spot. He’s just god awful on both Ends
You must have pissed him off.

Your new obsessive hate. We must be in parallel universes. He was one of the best players on the court tonight. He’s aggressive. I like him.

Ayton has not grasped any sort of sense on how pick and roll works on offense
It’s frustrating having drafted the guy with the basketball IQ of a pickle when we could have had a natural born killer.

It's amazing what happens when there's good ball movement, players run the court and attack the basket.
Right?! I hope this team learned something tonight.

Nader did alright. Like was said, he’s one of the only guys willing to attack the basket, especially when they were in a zone defense. They couldn’t get the ball to Ayton that much. It seemed like anyone’s game until the 4th when the Suns started hitting shots. Paul seemed like he kind of took over on offense early. Kaminsky was player of the game. In the interview after the game he said he felt they needed play making on the second unit and that’s what he was focusing on. Kudos to him. Nice to see Galloway get some burn.

They really needed a win and got it. Hopefully they can build on it.

Big win but more importantly it showed us how we need to play and how Monty needs to coach going forward. Maybe we turn a corner after last night. We've been saying it and it seems like Monty acknowledged it - he's been deferring too much and letting them (CP?) just do what they want on offense while they "figure it out". Right from the start you could see we were playing faster and moving the ball, making quick decisions and attacking instead or settling or watching someone dribble around for an entire possession.

Frank and Nader were the stars - If Frank can get any kind of offense going it would be a boost. He does know how to play and where to be, he's just always so awkward and physically overmatched that it's been tough to play him.

Nader doesn't have a pretty game at all, but he's scrappy and gritty and we've needed that. He's exactly a Spurs/Thunder type of player who just annoys the shit out of you when he's on their team. I don't expect him to play major minutes when Book is back, but it's good to have a guy like that on the bench for an ugly, physical game.

Moore didn't have a great game but I didn't hate him handling the ball and running some offense with the 2nd unit. He looked comfortable doing it and maybe he finds his offense if he's gets some more time. He's more of a ballhandler than Gallo and Carter, bigger and can play a bit more off the dribble.

Mikal also mentioned what we've been seeing - defenders running him off the 3pt line which has shut him down a bit recently. That's the scouting and he needs to adjust. Same with Cam. They need to be threats off the dribble. Bridges went to the line 8 times and Crowder had a solid game and went to the line 6 times. Need more of that from the wings.
