I’ll be open with this: I liked watching this team more with CP3 out. Ball didn’t stick, found energy, just a fun game to watch.

Ugly AF but I’ll take it. Keep the streak going. Lots of good offense tonight.

I will take it...Milwaukee on Wednesday will be tough...especially if we don’t get any bodies back.

Over his last 12 games Ayton is averaging 14.2 rebounds

Major props to E’Twaun Moore tonight...his best game as a sun I think. Bridges was also great...except his D on Sexton. Book with a very Book like game.

I don't disagree. That said, we got abused by dribble penetration tonight... do you think that would have been better with CP out there? Or at least maybe some more favorable calls?

The defense was pretty horrible. They have to learn to put as much effort into the games against the cellar-dwellers.

Man I'm surprised that Sexton didn't trick the refs on that drive
That's the type of call that goes against us and then we are left saying game should not have been so close smh

We did have our challenge...on replay think they would have overturned it if they called it on cam originally.

Sexton was a tough guard for Mikal

I thought Sexton was done wrong by the refs. Offensive foul and no whistle on second and third to last possession. Most guys who are as good as him would get at least one of those calls.

Meh...maybe I missed it, but didn’t see any fouls. You’d think Book would get more calls too, but he doesn’t. That bucket on Garland was a pretty obvious and-1 that went un called

From the end of the third on it looked like a layup/dunk drill for the Cavs. All things considered, I am just happy to come out of that with a win.

Glad we got a win, but our defense was pretty atrocious the whole game. Don't know how I feel about the fact that the offense was so much more free-flowing with Paul out. Part of me thinks it's just that the Cavs play terrible defense, too, so we would have done even better with Chris Paul in the game. It's hard to know. Certainly our pace was faster without him.

It's a testament to our roster construction and depth that we can be missing 4-5 important players and still score a ton of points and get a win. This is a talented team. Book really put us on his back (36/8/5), and Bridges had a great game, too (22/5/4). I thought Ayton had a really solid game as well, with 15 and 16. Kaminsky with another solid effort gave us 9/5/5; his passing has been pretty good lately. E'Twaun Moore had a really nice game starting in place of Paul with 17 points and 4 assists along with 2 steals.

I hope Cam finds his shot soon. It's just hard to watch him out there bricking 3 after 3. It got better as the game went along. I'd mostly rather have others like Galloway or Bridges shooting those shots. Cam was really the only guy out there tonight who was mildly disappointing. That and the collective defensive effort.

I look at Allen and I think I'm watching an old ABA game with the "high hats" ... Artis, Darnell Hillman, Dr. J, Larry "Special K" Kenon, Mike Gale, Mike Jackson ...
Cam looked like mini me to Allen tonight.
