I'm half expecting DiVincenzo to have like 18 and 8 with four 3s. Would help to get Crowder back and Middleton should be a good assignment for Bridges and Cam. Lopez will draw Ayton out of the paint with his 3. Oh and there's this guy Giannis who's pretty good too.

To borrow a quote, Ayton needs to put his big boy pants on for this game ...

Frank on Brook and then put DA on Giannis like how the Heat defended him with BamShelC wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 4:52 amI'm half expecting DiVincenzo to have like 18 and 8 with four 3s. I'm worried about this game. I feel like they are a tough matchup for us. We don't have anybody who can come even remotely close to stopping Giannis if he feels like having a 40+ point game. And they have lots of long and athletic defenders who can keep up with our guys.

I’m sure Ayton will be on Giannis
Re: Game Day: Bucks (16-8) @ Suns (14-9), Wed 2/10/21
It would be nice to get a couple of quick fouls on Giannis before Ayton picks up a couple of quick fouls.

Crowder did a pretty nice job on Giannis in the playoffs last year. It would help if he’s available.

Milwaukee has been a force as of late, winning its last five games by an average margin of 20.8 points and covering the spread each time. In those five games, the Bucks are averaging 127.2 points with a 60.3% Effective Field Goal Percentage and average assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.51, according to NBA.com. All three of those lead in the NBA in that span.
Bucks will be missing Jrue Holiday, a two-way player that gets it done on both ends. With his absence, Bryn Forbes is the main beneficiary, providing little on the defensive end and a lot of 3-point shooting.
One big question mark going into Wednesday’s game is the status of Suns point guard Chris Paul, who missed Monday’s previous game with a hamstring injury. My handicap is revolved around his availability, as the Hall of Fame point guard is crucial to his team’s success.
If Chris Paul misses Wednesday’s game, I am firing away on the over. Without Paul there to control the pace, I see this game being a shootout. Also, without his defensive prowess, I expect the Bucks to continue their dominance with their run-and-gun offense.
So you are saying there’s a chance?

The Suns have won three of the past four meetings after the Bucks won the previous six.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Wed Feb 10, 2021 10:37 amI'm worried about this game. The Bucks are 4.5-point favorites on the William Hill Sportsbook NBA odds.
The Bucks will be without Holiday for a while after he reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
Phoenix won for the third consecutive game and sixth in the past seven on Monday, 119-113 over visiting Cleveland. That was the second of a back-to-back so probably helps explain why Paul sat, although it was technically called due to a hamstring injury. The first official NBA injury report update is at 1:30 p.m. ET and we may know Paul's status for Wednesday then.
They make it sound like paul might be back. Calling it a hamstring injury sounds like several games. Maybe they are going to hold him out of some back to backs because he’s an old man now?

Ayton has defended Giannis as well as anyone in the past. I just hope the rest of the team can keep pressure on the rest of the Bucks lineup.

I didn't realize Bucks were on such a tear and yes the game will be a challenge
The Bucks 3pt shooting is the real danger which comes from having to over commit helping on Giannis. It will be kool if we have success using DA and not just save it as a 4th quarter wrinkle especially if the game isn't going our way early like what happen with Zion.
Either way, as from my ESPN Story post I am guessing Book will be featured throughout the broadcast so I am looking for him to have a big game. Much like Cavs game, I feel good about that expectation because without Jrue they are starting Forbes (who has had a couple random hot shooting games against us) but ain't a defender. DiVincenzo is solid but don't think he can bother Book much and then they have Torrey Craig now also coming off the bench who used to get the assignment when he was with Nuggets.
So if Giannis is expected to be a problem, Book should give them just as much issues so then we left with Mikal having to keep Middleton in check

Having Holiday out helps, at least.
