Typical to play what you think are your best (offensive) players and spread the floor out. We had Amar'e to dive as a great PnR threat and he became automatic from 16-18 ft. But we started Shawn at the 4 too and MikeD seemed reluctant to use defensive bigs like Steve Hunter who had no offensive game. It helped that Bagley and Barnes were starting up front for the Kings but Whiteside also had 26/16 and 5 blocks in 24 minutes off the bench.
And although Amare was listed as 6-10, I thought he was shorter than that. Like the way Barkley was always listed at 6-6 but was a lot shorter.
He measured 6’8.5 barefoot at the predraft combine.

Agreed. Ayton, Book, Mikal, Jae... all of those guys should be getting shots in the paint/at the rim tonight.

Thanks. That is taller than I remembered.

This is the game to make sure we don’t just settle for 3s. Brooklyn has no rim protection and is a terrible defensive team overall. Should attack the rim over and over.
THIS

The Suns should look back at the Philly game and challenge themselves to shoot even better.

If we hit them hard enough to open the game, Harden will mail it in.

Yes, Bridges on Harden for sure. Nets play small, so be interesting to see if we stick with Kaminsky in the starting lineup
I hope we stay the same and make them match up.

He's definitely serviceable. I like that he's a little gritty and plays with an edge. We need that.
And he's one of our most aggressive going to the hoop.

My only concern is that the refs give the game to Harden.
When does Booker start getting the superstar treatment?

I'm still a little worried about him. He likes to show off for his ASU alumni. Look for him to score at least 50 tonight.

Make them match up with Kaminsky? Is he going to use his size to punish them for going small?

I say we go full Popovich and rest Paul and Booker.

This team is not ready to do that and still win, would be one or another, and still would be vulnerable to a Harden big night.

When he plays a single playoff game? I mean this is his 6th year in the league. I mean, Harden has never missed the playoffs. I know it is a different situation, but by year 4 Harden was leading the Rockets to the playoffs as the #1 option.

The Nets roster is getting so stripped down, James Harden just tried to stuff a wad of $1 bills in its thong!!
