Usually I ask if we are legitimately good after a few wins. Now we should start discussion just how good we are. Are we in the discussion with Portland & Denver? I think that's definitive. Plus we're only 2 games behind the Clippers & Lakers.
Yep, after Jazz, Lakers, and Clippers, I think we’re as good as anybody else in the West. Looking forward to our future tests with those top Western teams as well to really know how we stack up now that we are hitting our stride.

A few weeks ago Paul was shooting 28-30% from 3, in the last 5 games he's up to about 56% so the outside shot is really coming around for him.
Eddie Johnson said several games ago that Mr. Paul could be hitting a ton more 3s if he just looked to take them more.

He is approaching 50/40/90.

I agree with info but am not sold on the Lakers. The Book and Paul back court will get even better closing out games going forward. Ayton can be a lot better in all departments. If Cam Johnson ever becomes the shooter we think he is, we are going to be even more difficult to defend.

It is fun to be a Suns fan again.
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.

I like the edgy-ness the the suns have. Caring about details when up big is a good sign, as long as players use it to grow. Good game and effort tonight though. The only thing annoying to me at the moment is how the game/shotclock on the screen is 4-5 seconds behind the actual game right now. Weird.

I think we're clearly as good as or better than Portland. Denver is tougher to say. They went to the WCF and are very close to us in the standings, so I can see an argument that they deserve the nod. I'd put us in the same class. The Lakers and Clips are the two out in front. The Jazz are another team that's hard to peg. They've been #1 in the West and put up these huge winning streaks. But I don't think they are a real contender. I would be fine with facing them in the playoffs; not scared of that team. Am I crazy? I feel like when we're playing well, we are the 3rd/4th best team in the West, which pretty much matches our record and place in the standings.

I am a bad Suns fan. The last piece of Suns clothing I purchased was a Shawn Marion jersey when he was on the team. I did catch a Gorilla T-shirt at a Suns game a few years back but, last night I went on line and bought a “Valley” shirt to wear around. I like the fact that it doesn’t say Phx Suns anywhere. People that aren’t Suns fans will probably not know what it means.

So glad I happened to choose the Grizzlies broadcast last night. They're one of the better opponent announcing teams with former brief Sun, Brevin Knight.

15 games in I was convinced Paul was a terrible fit. He has adapted and is not holding the ball as much, and is quicker with his decisions. Book and Paul still need to figure out how to run some semblance of an offense in the last few minutes of a close game, but it’s much better

Paul deserves a lot of credit for adjusting to better fit this team. The team is also learning how to play better with him. It's nice to see them growing together. Paul is really good.
