Can’t leave your feet on Dame
That was a BS call. Dame jumped into Ayton.

I mean, I don’t like how it’s called, but that is consistently a foul on the defender. Can’t leave your feet unless you’re going straight up.

Would love the bench to go on a nice run here with Lillard out

Giving up the lead was not good

Not a great stretch for the bench, forced some shots and now Hood going off. CP and DA back in with Cam Johnson, Jae and Moore.

That final play of the half shows a lot of basketball smarts. Book could have forced that shot when he drove, but instead dished it out and found a way to get open for a good look from the baseline at the buzzer

Book is in Terminator mode tonight. He might not let us lose tonight.

Monty went bigger to end the half with Dario and DA up front and it worked well I thought. Dario helped on the boards and hit a couple corner 3s. DA's been active and working well within the offense. EJ's been right about the Suns extending the defense too far out and getting caught for dunk and layups.
They got us abut 3-4 times that way but it's hard to give Lillard any space at all.

First half has been all Book tho. 63-54 Suns.

Alot of good in the half
I like our scheme on D, some miscommunication there to end the quarter giving up those back door lobs but I think that is an easy adjustment

I rather keep blitzing Dame and trust out weakside rotations to get there

Book Awesome
Dario very good

I would like to think CP3 not gonna miss those looks in the 2nd half

Book with 22 at the half! The bigs have missed several shots right next to the basket. But that's kind of good in the sense that it means we are actually taking some shots close to the basket. I like how engaged Ayton looks. Dario is playing great again. Paul's shot isn't falling yet but he's made some nice passes.

Why does Rodney Hood always look like an all-star when we play the Blazers?? Dude is averaging like 4 ppg.
