I'm surprised Booker didn't get at least some 4th or 5th place votes. His raw numbers may have been down, but even as good as Paul is, we're not the team we are this season without him.

But people see that Book's numbers are down from last year, but we are playing a lot better and think, oh yeah they got Chris Paul. That is why they are good.

I bet the Pacers will go after Stotts. He could work there for 20 years.

I'm proud of Book for stepping back and doing what's best for the team. But I do like when he asserts himself now and then like he did in game 6 against the Lakers. That was a big statement that he wasn't afraid of the moment.

I was thinking D'Antoni.

Isn't he 70? And after living in NY and LA the last several years, wtf would anyone choose to live out their last good years in Indiana?

Because they will pay him to do it.

Age may be a factor and maybe he doesn't want to be a head coach at this point but he was supposedly at the top of their list last year. I don't think he'd mind Indiana as much since he's more of a laid back country guy anyway.

Might depend on whether the nets can win it all this year...?

At some point the juice isn't worth the squeeze

Bridges not getting a single vote tells me everything I need to know about DPOY voting. KCP? GTFOH.

Look at those homer-ass votes. KCP? Thybulle? Jrue? GTFOH.

Thybulle is very good. He deserves some 3rd-5th place votes.

Thybulle and Jrue are very good defenders. I feel like Butler is rep at this point and KCP has no business being on the list.

Those guys are all really great defenders. KCP is a stretch, but Thybulle and Jrue are probably the two best on ball perimeter defenders in the league.

KCP is more than a stretch to be one of the best 3 defenders in the league. It is crazy.

Yep, he defended Book better than anybody in the L.

NBA likely to add expansion franchises in Seattle, Las Vegas

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2021/05/20/re ... las-vegas/

I'd really like to see this. Seattle is still hurting from losing the Sonics -> Thunder. But they got to retain the team's history, banners, logo, team name. Bringing the Sonics back would be great for the city. And I think the league has enough talent that it could field 2 more teams without the league being too watered down.

I love it for Seattle. They were a great basketball town. I had the opportunity to go to one of their playoff games when I lived there and the fans were great.
