Suns win.

Suns looking great early on. Magic are hitting some 3s keeping it close, but the Suns are locked in executing offense and digging in on defense. Book's got Mamba Mentality tonight, scoring in just about every way plus a great lob to DA and then a behind the back dropoff pass in transition to Crowder for a trailing 3. DA looking good again too with his energy, looks fresher.

Random thought: With Craig playing well and Cam Johnson back, minutes will be tough to come by for Nader.

Yea Nader's probably out of the rotation now. But Monty's gone back to guys too. Could be Moore, Nader or Frank at any time.

Bench unit giving up the lead a bit and struggling on offense. Dario is out of sorts, Payne is dribbling a bit too much but Gallo and Craig are hitting shots for us.

Second unit, save for Craig, pissed away the Suns lead.
Not counting Craig, they were 2-12 from the field. Ugh.

Magic always defend well and tonight they're knocking down a lot of 3s so they were able to end up tying it at half. Gotta run them off the line more, keep Ennis and Fournier in check. Vuc seems pretty frustrated dealing with DA which is nice to see. The bench needs to get back on the same page. Nothing from Payne, Cam or Dario to go with Mikal. Need those guys to get going.

I'd be inclined to run Craig as a backup 4/5 for this game. Very active.

Is Craig legitimately good? Did we pick up a rotation guy on the scrap heap?

Nice 11-2 run off a Bridges 3, CP middy off PnR, Book lay up in transition. The Bridges three was big, need him back on track.

I'm staying cautiously optimistic on Craig until we're 5-6 games in with him. New guys tend to get off their first few games until they're scouted or their warts start showing.
