Maybe DA's most complete game of the season? He's become fun to watch, less and less frustrating for sure.

Ya real solid from DA. Think I saw him really only get beat once on a switch as well...his total annihilation of that Bojan drive when he switched was fun.

Just a lil pet peeve

I'm hearing watching the post game video zoom interviews and it's crazy how like Kellan, Gina, Duane and so on will say Hi, Hello to the guys first but most the National Media folks just go straight in with the question without a greeting.

Manners ppl !

Have you noticed if they do the same to the opposing team's players? Just curious

It doesn't bother me. The local guys know them. The national media doesn't.

Well the International folks usually do also, had a guy from Philippines last night who greeted everyone
I mean it's nothing to discuss throughout the thread, I was just thinking out loud in my post lol

I guess you better explain that to ESPN.

It was absurd. Immediately after the game, ESPN spent nearly 30 minutes going over Kevin Durant and the Nets game. Then they did a 7 minute segment about the Suns game. About 10 minutes after that, they did another Nets piece that lasted nearly 15 minutes.

I know ppl have their priorities (family, work and so on) so peeping the box score is usually how they get an idea how a game went or a guy played.
I try not to read too much into box scores, sometimes not even really looking at them.

My stats viewing is usually all Fantasy league related lol so I was just very surprised to see Gobert hit all his FGs and FTs for 16pts and 18rebs.
Watching the game my takeaway was that DA bossed him last night and those numbers still not even close to making me change my mind

Ha
I usually watch on League Pass but did have on the tv last night. When I peeped back after the game finished and saw Nets highlights on, I wondered to myself if our game was featured first or not. Can't say I'm surprised smh lol

That Ayton offensive rebounding video was awesome. He did a great job at that last night.

I’ve long since learned not to care about what espn decides to show. They are a business, they’re going to show what people want to see. They’re trying to grab the casual viewer and the casual viewer cares about KD...not a Jazz/Suns game, even if it should be the premier matchup based on play on the court.

Yup--the league is dominated by a player's brand, and even though both Mitchell and Book are fairly well known, KD has won championships, and is a part of a team with a ridiculous amount of talent and visibility in Brooklyn. So it is seen as more newsworthy.

I get not doing that on live TV since the broadcasters have been talking to the audience for two hours on they are burning money every second. But the media interviews after the game are laid back and not costing anyone anything. People are just looking for a quote or two. You have plenty of time to say "hi" before you say "Clark Kent, Daily Planet, so what a great game. Tell me what was going through your mind in OT."

Don't rely on ESPN for objective, broad-based reporting.
If it's outside of the East Coast (NYC, Boston, Philly) Chicago or LA, it's not on the radar.
