I hate the app's notifications. You can turn them off from its notifications menu from your account settings. It makes you click like 478 times to turn all of them off, sadly

But every time you post in a thread it turns it back on. I was trying to keep it off.

On your computer maybe click through one of the emails to manage preferences?

I vaguely remember having the same problem a few years ago.

Did you figure out how to turn off the email notifications? I started using Tapatalk and don’t want the constant emails.

I don't receive those emails, so I think I must have turned them off a long time ago. I think you need to visit this site in your web browser and turn them off there, rather than in the Tapatalk app itself. I think you click on your username at top-right, then choose Board Preferences, then Notifications. Or I think the direct link below will work. Then uncheck "Email" boxes under any actions you don't want to be emailed about. Does that fix it?

Site was down earlier today when I tried to put up the game day thread. On my iPad now. Will go back to computer and try again.

It was some kind of outage with my hosting provider. All of my sites from them were down. I sent them a message. Looks like they got it back up and running.

Yeah, it was down again after I posted that but now it’s back up.

Do we like the "Most liked posts" area at the top of the site? I like the "Like" button overall but am not sure whether I like that specific area eating up so much screen space. I could get rid of it if people didn't want to see it (or could move it to the bottom of the page).

Not a fan of the "most liked posts" up top but figured I'd just get used to it.

I vote for putting it at the bottom of the page. Feels like dead space where it's at now.

So far, it looks like a feature folks aren't using much.

I turned off the "most liked posts" display for now. I know it's possible to move it to the bottom, but I didn't want to take the time to learn how, haha. Maybe I'll get to that later, but for now I just didn't want to see it eating up so much space at the top of the page.

Hey is anyone else annoyed that the default for quoting someone now includes date/time of the original post? It takes up an extra line of space on the screen. I have been deleting it when I quote, but was wondering if there was a way to shut if off as a default like it used to be.

I'm getting flooded with emails about responses in the Game Day thread and I can't turn them off even though all notifications are turned off.

The emails say to hit the unsubscribe button but I can't see it anywhere?

I personally just made an email filter.

Cheers - I did do that but it seems that as I clicked back into the thread, Outlook unfiltered the filter.

I'll do it again and report back.
