If we finish the rest of the season going 8-8, that isn't bad, right? Based on our schedule, number of road games, etc?
I'd take it. We wouldn't quite hit my 50 win prediction but we'd be close. Let's track it from here.

That’s crazy. Only four home games out of our final 16 ending with the weird 2 game series in San Antonio.

This post is great. Would it be too much trouble to add in the final score to the win loss column?

Nope. :)

I still think we’re winning 8-10 more. That puts us in the 50-52 win range.

Thanks for the thread!

Monster road trip right now and then we get to go home and face the Jazz and Clips. The following road trip is at least against lesser teams.

I'd still consider cutting some minutes or holding some guys out on a B2B game.

Great thread idea. Will enjoy tracking this. Hopefully we can finish the season strong.

One nitpick item, we beat Milwaukee 128-127, not 128-117

All the @s look scary, and of course there are still a lot of difficult games left, but right now the team has been better on the road (19-7, .730) than at home (23-9, .719).

In fact, still theoretically in play is the possibility of winning out on the road and going 29-7 for a .8055 winning percentage, which would narrowly edge the '95-'96 Bulls (33-8, .8049) for the best road winning percentage in NBA history.

I have a feeling this post might not age all that well, but it's fun to consider. And the team has been legitimately very good on the road this year.

It was a typo. Fixed.

I believe we currently have the best road record in the entire league.

Correct. Denver and the Lakers are currently tied for second-best road record, at 18-10. There are a number of other teams that, like the Suns, have been better on the road than at home this year, including the Lakers, Mavericks, Pacers, Grizzlies, and Spurs, among teams that are in or close to the playoffs.

It already hasn’t aged well. The page I was looking at for road record information must have been older, because it didn’t list the 2015-16 Warriors, who were 34-7 and broke the Bulls record for road wins and percentage (.829) in a season.

Realistically, I'll be happy to get one win out these next two road games. I hope to continue our streak of avoiding back-to-back losses but it won't be easy.

If we can finish this trip at 3-2 I will be pretty happy about that. I know I said after winning the first two I wanted to go 4-1, but I have to be realistic. And going 4-1 after starting 2-2 isn't possible.

I think they'll be ready for the Knicks and I have a feeling Crowder will be back.

I'm worried that we're going to fall out of 2nd in the West as we finish out the season with this road heavy and tough schedule. I could see us falling as far as to 4th in the West. A first round matchup against a healthy Lakers team is about the worst situation possible which means it will happen.

We probably fall to 3, but falling beyond that seems highly unlikely. Denver has a tough schedule and is still 3 games back. Our schedule gets better after this week. Though we still might get LA in the 3/6 matchup if Dallas catches the Lakers. There’s an argument for catching them early rather than later in the playoffs though.
