I think the WCF is the ceiling for this season, and the odds of reaching it are pretty small. As much as I hate the Lakers, I'd rather go out to them than the Clippers or get upset by a red-hot underdog.

Getting bounced will certainly suck, but I'm just excited to see how the young guys perform and how James Jones changes the roster for next season. I think it's pretty clear that this team needs another reliable scoring threat. Maybe one of Ayton/Bridges/Cam can go up a level offensively, but I find it difficult to envision them as self-creators.

I wonder if the Suns could somehow get a guy like DeRozan and what it would mean for the rest of the roster.

From the starting 5 you can see the 4 is the biggest challenge we have. We do need more consistency from Bridges and Cam and a healthy Saric as a reserve would be helpful.
Back up wise we do need a reliable back up 5 that can match up with some of the other bigs as Saric has no presence inside at all on the defensive end.
Lets hope Paul resigns or we are in rebuild mode again.

Wow! After our toughest road trip of the year, we're only 1 game back from best record in the League.

Thanks to the wolves totally having the Jazz’s number this season.

Seeing as we’re 4-2 over the first and toughest 6 games of the final 16, it’s a good bet we’ll finish better than 8-8. Although who knows if we’re resting players the last couple depending on seeding. I’m feeling pretty good about my preseason guess of 50 wins this year.

I predicted 42 and a spot in the play-in games. I thought 45+ wins would've been spectacular. I didn't even consider anything close to 50 wins.

I checked, 11 predicted at least 50 wins, but I only saw 3 people claim the predictions...it was just a quick scan, but:

Superbone - 50
Shel - 55
Indy - 56

I voted 50 wins.

There’s a vote for 52 and 54 in there as well, but I don’t think anyone’s owned up to them.

I hope not. I could actually see a way where Utah falls to #3, though. Suns-Clippers-Utah-Denver-Mavs-Lakers for top 6. that would be kind of wild though.

I am still hoping for a first round meet up of the LA teams. I think it is more likely as a 3-6 than the 4-5 some people are talking about.

They already sent a notice to season ticket holders about it. They are opening it for us on the 15th. I would assume they open to everyone else on the following Monday (17th).

If I see something about it before then I will let you know. We have to decide by the 15th if we are going to buy all possible tickets for all possible games through the Finals. And prices have been jacked up a ton. It is close to the same prices I pay for half a season.
