I still don’t understand how you can jump sideways to shoot a ball and get the foul call

Haven’t seen Ayton grab a rebound 3 feet from the hoop and pass it out in awhile. Tatum and Kemba were too intimidating I guess. He did find Cam who drew the foul at least.
He’s been playing much better lately but he’s clearly taking the night off

We're not even playing poorly, just ice cold from the perimeter. We're right there to make it a game if we can get some 3s to fall.

I’m sorry but Kemba Walker ain’t good enough to draw like 4 charges and 2 or 3 fouls while shooting behind the line. GTFO

This will be our Kryptonite in the playoffs, mark my words. I'll look it up in the morning, but I would postulate that 85%+ of our loses are when we can't hit an average amount of 3's.
In these cases Ayton has to be a MAN(unlike tonight) and assume the scoring responsibility. Once that FINALLY happens, we will be the team we should be

Like if there were ever a game a guy like CamJ or Ayton needed to step up and share some of the scoring load it was this one. Both has been pretty useless tonight

6-35 on 3-pointers. 40.9% shooting overall. Won't win many games with numbers like that.

Maybe Craig was telling Tristan his career was done in 2019 when Khloe was. Because he’s been irrelevant ever since.

Too many threes, especially when the opposition lacks a force in the pivot to patrol the paint.
It's not like Bill Russell is lurking there.

Booker has a tendency to pile up fouls when he frustrated. Needs to progress in that regard.

Ayton should have had a dominant game. Chose to spectate and take paths of least resistance.

Bench was not much of a factor. Saric was a non-factor.

For the most part, the team got outworked ...

I hate watching Eastern Conference games because it’s just flop fest. I know the NBA has a lot of floppy players but the East is ridiculous. Kemba, Embiid, Harden, KD, Giannis just to name a few

The Suns look like they're on about a quarter tank of gas so far.
Yup. The whole game was a drag. Just didn’t have it. They tried to turn it on a few times but couldn’t get over the hump. Felt like a loss from start to finish.

If that's the case then use Moore and Galloway and Kaminsky. They could all handle the Celtics players.
I really don’t understand why Kaminsky isn’t getting burn over Saric. Saric is just a waste of space out there lately. Can’t make a 3 to save his life and even blows wide open layups.

Gross game. Celtics were not even good. We were just totally flat.

Book, Cam and Mikal combining for 1-17 on 3s is not going to cut it.

Book has been in a funk.

12pts (.25 fg%)
23pts (.421 fg%)
15pts (.333 fg%)
24pts (.375 fg%)
19pts (.429 fg%)
15pts (.462 fg%)

Continues to disappoint
CP3 also had subpar games last week but in our biggest road trip of the season has been doing his thing, turning it on when we get in a rut or facilitating

Will be nice if Book can start to play something. Maybe he's just tempering my expectations for his playoff debut cause I don't know what he's really on

James Jones has received far too much credit this off season in my opinion.

Good to great signings

1. Cp3
2. Crowder
3. Saric - unfortunately he has been horrible for a while - at one point the 2nd coming - at the moment he looks badly out of gas - needs a legit back up which Jones has failed to supply
4. Pick up of Craig has been better than expected.

Bad decisions
1. Drafting of Jalen Smith - I was hopeful - I expected him to be Saric's / Ayton's back up - he is non existent - at a position of great need.
2. Not drafting Haliburton - leaving Booker to be CP3's main back up - Booker is out of gas.
3. Not finding a legit back up for Booker - Booker is out of gas.

All of the contenders added help at the deadline, not us. Yeah we added Craig but he does not play the point and is not a back up big. We could have used both.

I think we are seeing a worn out Booker and frustrated Saric.

In spite of this we still have the 2nd best record in the league. Unfortunately I doubt that we are going to be able to hold that position. We have far exceeded our wildest expectations for the season but I see an early exit come playoff time. I believe I am not alone. Please surprise us like you have all season.
I wanted Monty as our coach since D'Antoni left town. Nice choice James Jones.
