Don’t sleep on the Suns - Phoenix has the second-best record in the NBA, so where’s the love?
https://theundefeated.com/features/dont ... enix-suns/
Despite being the hottest team in the league over the last few months, some still don’t see Phoenix as legit title contenders. Vegas seems to agree. It’s hard to earn respect if a team is coming from the lottery, where the Suns have resided for years. Win first, the argument often goes.

But it’s time to give the Suns their due. They’re on the short list of title contenders. Don’t believe me? Let’s talk.

Sorry a little late on this. Feel free to move any relevant posts to this thread. Here's the video of Cam talking about his nose and it happening in practice.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in the drama. Cams facial expression kind of tells the story. Whatever happened still sticks with him a bit and he's trying to take the professional route.

I appreciate that he doesn't elaborate. Snitches get stitches.

Couple people reporting on Twitter he didn’t get punched, including Espo. One says Ayton was who caught Cam in the nose. Was accidental. Not sure why everyone’s been so weird about it in that case.

They are handling it like something happened. So if it wasn't a fight, it could just be someone being a dick in practice like throwing elbows or hard fouls.

Well, you know what Mike? If you don't make a story out of it then it's a non-story.

So the truth is probably somewhere between "Kamaru Usman shot to the face" and "inadvertent elbow to the face".

Where does Karl Malone elbow to the face rank in there?

Good article
Knew they were some who weren't too fussy about the trade and then he and Book took a minute to get going which didn't put people's minds at ease. I wasn't too worried about him but I probably would have if he had came here from the Rockets.

Just the way he handled himself with OKC surprised me tbh, his big bro relationship to SGA and just his overall leadership to that squad. He's clearly gonna still be motivated, so for me it was like our young Core better than theirs so no reason for it not to work. Things are not always that simple but I'm glad that in our case it has been ✌️💪

Chris Paul is the finisher many of the fans think Devin Booker is.

I know most of us knew he was good, but I don't man of us thought he would be this good and have this much of an affect on how well they would play. I was expecting a 6-8 seed, and I would have been very happy with that.

I guess now wouldn't be a very good time to start my "Who else misses Ricky Rubio??" thread.

You nailed it. I didn't think he would be this much better than Rubio was. And I hope Devin matures into the closer that we've seen in CP3 the last couple of games.

Rubio and Kaminsky off the bench would be unstoppable.

Phoenix Suns return to NBA playoffs for the first time in a decade — here’s what owner Sarver has learned
Philosophy, process and people. That’s the Phoenix Suns’ new formula that helped the franchise break a decade-long drought.

The Suns are one of the best teams in the National Basketball Association’s 2020-21 season, sitting second in the Western Conference, and going 20-7 since the All-Star break. Business improves as the wins accumulate and the refurbished arena welcomes fans back.

Maintaining the Suns' current winning percentage, .710, would give Phoenix its fifth best winning percentage in franchise history.

Ah, yes. Philosophy, process and people - 3 of the 4 great Pillars of championships. Over the offseason, we just need to add Pfeffernusse.
