I think that’s pretty good and makes me very optimistic going forward, haha

Can we call this a "realists' thread" now?

If Paul is out for Covid, that will definitely lower my optimism a lot.

Indefinitely has to mean he tested positive right?

No. I think it is indefinite because he has to wait the incubation period and then "fail" two consecutive covid tests. At least that is what i think the protocol is now. If that is the case, because you don't know if he will get the negative results, it is indefinite.

I see. Even if he is out we still have Polly. She is undefeated.

I'm oddly not worried about this. He's been vaccinated and if he's asymptomatic, all he has to do is get to false tests and he's back.

As long as everybody is cleared to play in Game 1, we should be okay.

We might have to change the name of this thread back to the original. :(

Easy for you guys to say. I could see if this was an Optimists thread. But for Realists? ;)

I’m thinking of other spread on the team at this point. Doesn’t Cam live with him too?

Curious what the schedule was. He might have flown home.

I am feeling pretty damn good about that. We squeaked out two victories without him and got a little bloodied. The calvary is on the horizon just in time.

Feeling great! We’ve withstood the lack of CP3 and now he’s back! Let’s knock the wind out of their sails. They think they can come back from 0-2 three times in a row? Let’s just smash them now and let them know what’s what.

Here is Cubby’s latest post
A second alarm has gone off because should the Suns ring here they're fit and proper for a repeat and beyond. There ain't a rotten apple in the whole gd organization. Nary a crumb bum. Not one. All fine chappies.
This organization/players have a pristine appearance about it. A Midas touch has taken place all along the assembly line. Somehow, I have no idea how in this day & age of NBA players.

Never have I thought the past 35 years this would ever take place. I got here at Xmas in '86 and recall sitting in a Hinky Dinky parking lot listening to a Suns/Lakers game on the car radio. Fuckin' Al McCoy with that anti-Lakers grip they all have here in Arizona raised the hackles and I was hit with a hatred so keen for this organization and Media that it's never left me. And I passed it down to the children...

Watching a Suns game on the tv way back there...

-"Goddamn I hate these son-of-a-bitches!"

- "Dale!"///the wife from the kitchen.

- "I hate 'em too, dad." My eldest son in a whisper.

- A couple minutes later..."Dad, why do we hate 'em?"

My day of reckoning is at hand.

Grim business.
"I'm a Deandre Ayton guy."--Al McCoy, September 21, 2022.
