I don't think that matters to Paul.

I think the main motivation to go to LA would be to be able to live with his family during the season.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 1:39 pmI agree it wouldn't be easy to pull off, but it still makes me nervous that the possibility is there. He wouldn't sign for the minimum or something, but how much would he be willing to forego for a chance to play with his buddy and be a title favorite? He's made a ton of money already..Indy wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 1:33 pmNot sure they can find a team willing to take on enough salary to sign him without taking anything back. If he opts out, it has to be because he is getting a 3 year deal worth a lot more than the 45 he is owed.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 1:26 pmNot necessarily. Paul could opt-out and just sign with the Lakers. Obviously the Lakers would need to create cap space, but LeGM has a history of pulling stuff like that.

Yeah, they got the finished Nash and we got the MVP Nash. I am not going to talk about Paul maybe going to the Lakers in the off season on the game day thread of our first playoff game in a decade and against the Lakers. That’s sacrilegious and bad luck for sure.

Lots of Lakers jerseys in the crowd.
