So the it's a tough choice facing Williams between the Suns and Lakers was just media drivel ??

Well deserved

A great and well-deserved honor for Coach Monty! He is without a doubt the right coach for the roster and for the times.

I buried this kind of deep in a game day post a couple of weeks back, so to repost:

I think it's hard to overstate the degree to which Williams, along with James Jones, has helped to re-establish some dignity and stability within the Suns organization. Sarver matters far less with those two being the public face of the front office now, and their obvious competence and ability to connect with the players and create a winning environment have been huge in this year's turnaround. Williams deserves the all the accolades that are going to come his way for what he's done in the regular season this year.

Without a doubt! We are so lucky to have him and for him to help grow these young men both personally and as a team. The growth in only two years has been phenomenal.

He’s going to break that streak of changing coaches every two years. Doesn’t he know the way we do things around here? Ha!
