Blazers GM Neil Olshey seems to be throwing everyone else under the bus at his press conference

With those quotes it sounds like he's circling his own wagon.

He's just tightening his own noose with all the word play

Wow. Screams of a leader that doesn't know what responsibility is.

We would know exactly what that sounds like:

I don't get the fascination with Kidd as a coaching candidate.
Same. Feels like if you meet this things, you almost always get interest:

Former player at high level
Won a ring (especially in last decade or so)
Been a head coach

Like, what about "never shown you can be a good head coach?"
That's why I'm saying the Blazers dodged a bullet.
"Be Legendary."

Honestly, I think Kidd has shown himself to be a good (not great) head coach. The problem has been he just hasn't been a very good person/employee in his two stints as head coach.

And he might have his sights set on the Boston job.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

Neil Olshey is coming across as a clown.

And the Lillard-MCollum-Powell trio was stupid.

That is the match I expected to happen. He'd fit in with Boston.

Yep. I just can't imagine ever saying that about a team I put together at my company. Especially publicly. Even if you believe all that, you come out and say that it is your job to build a team that can compete in an ultra-competitive western conference. You may have done a good job up to this point, but clearly you didn't do enough and need to be better. And you are committed do doing whatever it takes, and [insert owner here--don't know who really runs it after Allen died]is committed, and we will come back stronger next year.
