I don't think you're winning this one, 'Dack. It is in the Oxford and Mirriam-Webster dictionaries. Also, the first pic on this website is from Ahwatukee. I'm sure you've heard of the Encylopedia Britannica.

As a sign of how out of touch I am, I never heard of Kate Upton when she was blowing up. I was somewhere years later and someone was talking about "Kate Update Cat Daddy" and I am like, what language are you speaking? And they just kept repeating it to me like I didn't hear them, instead of not understanding the reference. They told me to look it up and I did and was like, OK, I get it. But how do you even know abut this stuff? I felt old. And I was only a year older than the rest of them.

I already won in my mind. Many decades of living in Phoenix and not once was it called a Haboob by anyone. We get in a war with Iraq and our soldier’s see a dust storm there called a Haboob in Arabic and all of the sudden all dust storms in the US are called Haboobs. They can call it a Haboob. I won’t.

It’s in the dictionary? So is dust storm.

dust storm noun
Definition of dust storm
1 : a dust-laden whirlwind that moves across an arid region and is usually associated with hot dry air and marked by high electrical tension
2 : strong winds bearing clouds of dust

ˈˌapəl ˈpī - Apple Pie

batatis maqlia -French Fries

naqaniq - Hot Dogs

alealam al'amrikiu - American Flag

Like mentioned in one of the other threads, it was '93 for alot of us when our fandom started and I would have said I was only 12. I remember I liked this dude and being bummed seeing how his story turned out.

Gotta be honest, I'm surprised he's still around all things considered

Dumas was such a waste of talent. He could ball, just couldn’t stay of the drugs. What a shame.

I sure hope Book himself isn't spending any mental energy on this stuff at this time.

Pretty sure he isn't bothering to prepare these. That is why he has lawyers.
